Not really. I'm having a hard time finishing books. I don't know if it's me or the books. I just find myself bouncing from book to book and continually starting new ones. I had to force myself to finish some of those books because all I could think was, "I can't start this challenge over and find another X book".

It was good. I don't know how accurate it was in terms of geisha "culture", but the author captured the "feel" of Japan pretty well. I'm not one of those people who just loved the book, but it was above average- a 4 star read.

I am determined to read it before the end of 2011. I'm seen the movie a few times and I loved it.

I've had it on my bookshelf for about three years now. Still have not picked it up. What is my problem?! :)

I'm in the same boat, Rachel. It hasn't been on my list for that long though.

I think I've been in a reading slump or something. Haven't been doing very good with my challenges lately.

Sherrie, I go through slumps too. Sometimes taking a day to do nothing but watch movies or shop helps me get motivated again. Also, picking up either an old favourite or something completely outside my usual genres can help.
