Kellee - I just picked up Ghostopolis from the library! How was it? It looks great.

It was a lot of fun! It is worth reading.
Also, Jane Yolen is coming to my Holocause museum in May and I think I'll be able to go see her :)

Cathy: In order for the points for Kellee's challenge to count it has to be read during that month. Did you read it in January? Let me know and I'll add those 5 points back on. Also, Lists do not count as Awards, so I've adjusted your points since it was not awarded a non-list award.
I've adjusted Kellee's and Amy's points to reflect their extra points for Matched.

I had a hard time with it :(
I listened to the audio version, and didn't love the narrator's voice for Flip. She made her sound too silly. I need to physically read the book to give it a fair shake since I really loved L'Engle's other books as a kid.

Question- can a book count as religious fiction if the moral/message/feel to the book is religious-ish? EC isn't about a specific religion, or anything, but it's definitely about living a better life, and a lot of the... feel/almost preachy stuff in the book felt very religiony w/o picking a specific religion. If that makes any sense... Let me know. If that about nonsense actually makes sense, and you think it would count, I'd like to claim the religious genre for Elijah's Coin. If not, that is totally fine. Just let me know. Thanks! -UPDATE- Accepted
