10 POINT TASKS
10.1: Climate/ Weather - Read two books that have one of the following types of weather in them: rain, sunny, snow. *The book can also have the weather on the cover.*
Required: If the weather wasn't on the cover/s, tell which type of weather was in each book.
10.2: Single Word Titles - Read two books that have only one word in their titles. *The subtitle "A Novel" will count as a single-worded title. However, other subtitles will not.*
10.3: Award Winners - Read two books that are Newbery Award winners. This link should help you out: Newbery Award Receivers

15 POINT TASKS
15.1: Days of the Week - Read books that spell out the name of a day of the week. *"The," "A," and "An" don't count as the beginning letter of the title.* Example for Sunday: Speak for S, Uglies for U, Nevermore for N, Deception Point for D, The Angel Experiment for A, and You Suck for Y. (You may use some of these, but please don't copy the entire thing.)
15.2: Year of Birth - Read a book that was first published in the year of your birth.
Optional: Tell what year you were born in.
15.3: Graphic Novels - Read three graphic novels. *Anime and manga will count for this task.*
15.4: Hero - Read a book with a hero as the main character.

20 POINT TASKS
20.1: Getting Hungry - Read a book that's about food and/or drinks, e.g The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie or Lemonade Mouth. *Cookbooks can be used for this task.*
20.2: Thank You Moderators - "We wouldn't have this great group without our moderators. As a thank you to them, read two books that were read by the moderators in 2010." Their shelves should help: Zakiya's Bookshelf, Meghan's Bookshelf. *You may mix the books (one from Zakiya's and one from Meghan's).*
Required: Tell which shelf you got each book from.
20.3: Backs to the Reader - Read three books where there is a person on the cover with their back to you. This list should help: Backs to the Reader

25 POINT TASKS
25.1: Popularity Vote - Read a book that has less than 1,000 reviews on GoodReads, AND read a book with more than 25,000 reviews. *The number of reviews can be found next to the book's average rating.*
Optional: What did you think of them?
25.2: Cover Colours - Read one book for each of the following colours. Colours: yellow, green, orange, purple, and white/ grey.
25.3: One Step Forward, Two Steps Back - "Sometimes I think that life in general is one step forward and two steps back." (Said by fellow member Jenilyn) In honour of life, read three books: one futuristic, and two historical.
Required: Specify which book is futuristic.

35 POINT TASKS
35.1: Step Outside the Box - Read five books, each from a different genre that you normally wouldn't read.
35.2: Series Reading - Read four books from a single series. *Prequels can be counted for this task. However, if the series's prequel is another series, those books will not count with the original series.* (Example: If you read the Mortal Instruments series, you can't read Clockwork Angel to finish the task, because even though it is a prequel, it belongs to a totally different series.)
Optional: How many books do you have left to read in that series before you're done?
35.3: Celebrating the Year - Read the books that are numbers 20 & 11 (for 2011) on your TBR/ to-read list.

50 POINT TASKS - each task can be completed twice
50.1: The 1900's - Read five books, each from a different decade in the 1900's.
Required: Tell each book's initial year of publication.
50.2: Readers Picked It - Read five books that were nominated for the 2010 GoodReads Readers' Choice Awards. *The books must each be from a different category.*
Required: Tell which category you chose each book from.

100 POINT TASK - can only be completed once
100.1: Remember the Past - To remember the last decade, read a book published in each year of the last ten years (2001, 2002, 2003,. . . 2010).
Required: Specify which book was published in what year.
