We can always improve our reading.Its not the amount of books we read its the way we pay attention on what we read to extract the the best of it.I like to create a list of what I would like to read in a year.It keep me motivated.I like to post my list on Bookaddicts to share what I like Hoping to get some feedback.Have a great year in reading.
Good point! I like to take my time and digest what I'm reading, unless, of course, it's brain candy. I always wonder if the speed readers actually retain anything.I do have a sort of a list for the year but I keep buying more books so it kind of gets tossed aside, ah well the problems of a book lover....

Paul are you turning into a speed reader? I'm kidding! I saw your earlier post and then saw how closely your titles were posted. Just poking a little. I'm like you. No movie channels. I also hardly watch tv. My evenings after kids' homework and family dinner are spent reading. It's my entertainment & hobby rolled into one.
Anyways, amazing numbers! Keep up the reading!
Thanks, Kristi. yeah, I've been more focused this year. My evenings are the same after work, I watch the news, eat dinner then read until bed. I do watch movies but not often( I joined netflix) so they come in the mail.I always give thanks to my parents who were big readers and passed it on to me!
I love Netflix. It comes in, it sits and waits for you, and then you just send it back. Wonderful. Parents do play a role. My mom was an avid reader, I am, and now I see I'm passing it down to mine. Well, 2 out of 3 isn't bad.
I know...when I joined I put several hundred in my queue so I I'd always have one coming and since it's only 2 or 3 a week, more time for books!I'm always happy to see kids that like to read.
