I read "Oz" with my daughter starting in December. We finished it last night. I tried to get her to move on to a little Lewis Carrol, but she opted for fairy tales instead. Bummer.

Baudrillard is pretty mind blowing at the times when his dense prose isn't getting in the way. I took a lot of notes and I still need to let this one marinate a bit before I go back and see how much of it is applicable/relevant to my thesis.

3. A Very Easy Death - Simone de Beauvoir

A very short memoir recounting her mother's death from cancer, I thought this would be worthwhile after a similar experience with my own father's passing last spring. In the end, it was worth the short time I spent with it. I found the last few pages thought provoking, but disagreed with her final analysis.
