Most locales have satellite post offices with more flexible hours. I think they apply a surcharge though.

We have a 24 hour post office service center in a gas station. Since it's actually a post office, they don't charge extra.

I will have mine mailed out tomorrow! I had so much fun with them!

I finally finished mine! Now if only it would stop snowing/sleeting/freezing so that I could get to the post office tomorrow.

I DID IT!! Got mine mailed. I had to drive a ways to find a 'satellite' post office with later hours. There are four close by, but they all close between noon and 4 PM! IT's DONE!! I'm so relieved.

Finished! Can't wait to send them off tomorrow :o)

Tera, i sent mine yesterday. You should receive it on the 31st. Please accept my apologies for the small blood smear on the outer envelope - it is only mine and the accidental result of a very nasty paper cut from the envelope itself. I was most surprised to learn that the post office doesn't have bandaids!

My husband sent off my bookmarks yesterday. I am so excited!! I also got my secret chick package yesterday.. WooHoo..

And let me just add this, HOLY WOW!!! I am pretty impressed. I keep opening up packages and think 'oh these are my favorite' then I open up the next one and think it all over again.
There are some that are simple and lovely and others that are more complex and lovely. I really do love all of them.
I know there are more to come and considering the weather don't be surprised if what you thought should be here isn't yet I'm guessing the weather is slowing things up a bit.

Me too! They are all so creative and so different from each other! Thanks to Melissa B., Rosemary, Annette, Sarah, Gwen, Jennifer W., and Emily! I love all the mottos and clever designs. Thanks also to whoever made the Hang In There monkey one (sorry, couldn't read the name), the lovely braided ribbons, and the quilted felt and fabric.

Sorry I forgot to even put a tag on mine -- they're the ones with the braided cords. I was so relieved just to actually get them finished!

Melissa - thanks for the darling bears - they are so sweet! I also go Mich's Hang-In-There Monkey - just adoreable. Someone is a 'stamper!' Monica - the gold edging vining fabric is beautiful, one cannot have enough fabric! Sarah - the beaded thong is so delicate and lovely. And Rosemary the origami type corners are very cool. I have never seen anything like it. Christine, I love the No. Carolina magnet ones! I NEED a good dream of beaches in Nebraska. Emily, being a Minnesotan, I am partial to Garrison Keillor - LOVED it! Marsha, the chords were gorgeous - did you do all that tiny work?!?! Mine has a beautiful pink flower 'bob' on it. Stunning. I also have a pretty crisp turquoise braid to thank someone for - and a wonderful bright spring green knit or crocheted book "scarf" someone put alot of time into! Thank so much everyone. This is my second bookmark exchange and I love doing them. They are all so different and creative. I don't know where everyone comes up with such neat ideas. Nothing is remotely alike.

This is my first bookmark exchange and I can't believe how beautiful everything was! I love them all, thank you to everyone! I forgot to put my name on mine, and I realize I should have put some kind of instructions in with them. Mine are the whitish ribbon with knots tied in two places, a charm at one end and beads and a charm at the other. The bookmark is meant to stay inside the book, around the pages, and the heart charm at the top hangs inside the book to keep your place, then when you read, it just hangs from the top of the book.
Thank you again to everyone, I can't wait to do this again next year!

Beautiful, and as others have said, creative. I haven't looked at them long enough to have a favorite, and it would be hard to choose one anyway, but I'm ever so glad to have them and to share this with all of you. Thank you, thank you!

Jacki - I got one of those two and didn't spot it in the plastic bag until this morning when I was cleaning up my mail mess. Lovely!! The charms are beautiful. This is such a treat.

Husband went out this morning to check mail and still no package. I've been really busy today and only just now had a chance to check email and visit the forums. Reading everyone's comments reminded me that we never checked the mail a 2nd time (it runs within a three hour window) so I sent hubby out in the dark and now am happily admiring all my pretty new bookmarks! You all did a wonderful job! I just love each one and want to say a Great Big Thank You to all of you lovely ladies and especially to Tera for organizing this exchange!

I love all of my beautiful bookmarks!!! Magnetic ones, beaded ones, fabric, plastic...they're all amazing! I can't decide which to use on my book! I think I will just pick a new one every day! All of you chicks are so creative!

I got my bookmarks Saturday and OMG, can I say Magnificent!! My kids were even impressed and you know that's virtually impossible w teenagers.
