I'm seriously considering this challenge. I do have a question though.

For challenge # 12 would a book by Georgette Heyer or Victoria Holt be ok? If none of them qualifies I could use Testimony of Two Men by Caldwell Taylor.

Good question Katharina! I often think that some of Heyer's books are less romance and more 'coming of age' or just a really good story. (Haven't read any Victoria Holt.)

I'm not that familiar with their writing since I only read one book from each of them. I was wondering if Heyer or Holt qualify as a classic but am not sure. I'm reading them for the lifetime of books challenge.

I would classify Heyer as a historical romance author. Victoria Holt is more historical fiction, so you can use her for #12.

Even after reading the description a few times, I'm still a little confused about "Fantasy Romance." I'm thinking of using -if it's allowed, of course. I mean, you can't get more fantasy-ish than a book about a freaking mermaid & an angel, right?

Checking for books to fill some of the more difficult categories for me I noticed that I have the first 3 books of Dara Joy's Matrix series. I've wanted to read them for a long time now. I think I can fit them into 3 of the categories, Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Paranormal. Yay.

The second one (Rejar) is also time-travel Katharina. :)

Thanks Jane. I might use Rejar for TT then and pick a different book for paranormal.

I also found a very interesting book I might use for the Multi-Cultural - Interracial category. It's a medieval set in Germany. H is jewish and h is german/catholic. Or maybe I'll save it for a future German category. ;)
