Hey.
The Vector has a different book as alternate edition, but when I click the combine link to seperate them, it doesn't show up.

Not sure if this is a bug or a super librarian issue.

The reason it won't show up is because the author is different. I'm not experienced enough around here to know how they could have been combined in the first place...!!

Yeah I thought that was the reason, but that's all the more reason they need to be split.

(Are you sure they are different? They both have the same quote on the cover)

I'm 99% sure that MCM doesn't alias as R.J. Davis, also the blurbs (in the description field) are obviously for 2 different books. However, it seems to be an imported error from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Vector-MCM/dp/0...

Weird. Totally leaving this pickle to someone a bit more experienced than me. I think I know how I could separate the 2 editions, but not brave enough to try in case I mess it up!

It is the same book - the description is longer in one version, matching the Amazon descriptions. I don't know why they aren't credited to the same author, but they have the same publisher and the publisher's website linked on both pages here [http://1889.ca/books/vector/] has links to buy both versions on Amazon with the different author name.

In other words it looks like it *is* the same book, even if the author credited is weird. If you want further confirmation, you could always contact MCM on here since he's a Goodreads author.

I have contacted MCM, and warned him about the (probable) mix up. He's not a librarian though, so I don't think he could edit the data. This is just weird.

Authors have limited librarian status to correct their own books.

Looks like it's not 'his' book that needs fixing, it's the alleged R.J.Davis one.
