Neko Since we've a thread about fav Aussie shows/movies..I'm wondering what else we all enjoy besides our good ol'Aussie shows/movies?

For tv..Glee, Brothers and Sisters, Doc Martin, Gilmore Girls (when it was on), Fraiser(when it was on), Simpsons, Futurama, New Tricks, Monk, Bones, Burn Notice, TopGear (UK version)..i think that is all atm.

I reccently started watching Southlands, The Shield and Secret Diary of a Call Girl.

When it comes to movies...I really enjoyed Quick and The Dead, Tomb Raider movies, GiA, Inception, 8mm, Ducktales the movie...maybe some more that i am missing.

I don't watch a lot of television. I do love anything with Stephen Fry in it. QI, Stephen Fry in America, Stephen Fry: In search of the planet's most endangered species. I am also a total Doctor Who addict. I really am a total nerd.

★ Jess | 3071 comments I dont watch a lot of TV-and the TV I do watch is mostly Australian shows, however, the non-Aussie shows I like are just:
Glee and Seinfield. Love them both :)

Movies is a totally different story, I love: Sherlock Holmes (with Robert Downey Jnr.), Inception, Inglorious Basterds, Me, Myself and Irene, Snatch. , Anchorman, Blades of Glory, Meet the Parents/Fockers, Anchorman, Ratatouille and so much more.
I love Jim Carrey, Robert Downey Junior and Brad Bitt.

(has anybody seen Brad Pitt in 'Snatch' when he plays the gypsy with an irish/english/australian/american/indian accent-all at the same time?
He's so amazing!
He's also VERY good in Burn after Reading and Inglorious Basterds.

I hardly watch TV, but enjoy Grey's Anatomy every week when it's in season. Again, don't watch many movies, but have always loved 'Back to the Future' 1,2 & 3. I have watched them a few times, and always enjoy them :D

Things that when they come on I will watch are:

I love all the BBC Charles Dickens mini series...Bleak House, Little Dorrit etc plus any production of Jane Eyre as well as any of Jane Austen productions.

Life on Mars was wonderful, Hamish Macbeth, Ballykissangel. I also liked the older series of The Bill.

message 8: by Neko (new)

Neko Awe, Ballykissangel was an enjoyable series when it was on. I completely forgot about it.

I'm glad to read I'm not the only one who doesn't watch so much TV. People tend to think it's strange that I don't watch much.
