BarryP (barrypz) | 2 comments My friends on M/T said I should wander over here for a look. I live in Connecticut and teach engineering related topics at an industry school. My reading runs to noir and hardboiled mysteries, some of the popular series (Think M Connelly) and military themed thrillers.

Sherry hi. i followed barry over here. i also live in CT, am a special ed. tutor and read m/t's, hardboiled, no cozies, as well as some general fiction.

Merrilee in AZ | 1 comments Hi, I followed Barry and Sherry. I live in AZ and I'm retired (yippee). I read a pretty large selection of books, M/T, Hardboiled, Horror and a romance now and then.

message 6: by Melodie (new)

Melodie (melodieco) Another one who followed Barry, Sherry & Merrilee from M/T at Carol's suggestion. I live in Colorado, 50-something, married (no kids, 2 dogs) and am payroll administrator for an engineering firm. My reading tastes are a bit all over the place. I love a good mystery from Robert Crais and Harlan Coben to cozies, but I don't like Agatha Christie! I also love YA fantasy and urban fantasy (put a vampire in it and I'll at least look at it!), some general fiction and pop culture bios.

Hi everybody! Glad you found us!

Can I ask... what is M/T?

Melodie: I'm just the opposite... put a vampire in it and I run the other way, lol! I tend more to the cozies, but there are recommendations here for everyone, so just jump into the threads! Lots of good stuff in "Fun and Games" too.

we were all together on a mystery/thriller board on the old oprah boards. when they disappeared, we migrated our group over to goodreads. you can find that group on goodreads by searching for
M/T Reading Friends

I tend to lean more toward cozies myself anymore. But I can never resist a new Crais book or Coben if it's a Myron Bolitar story. And I am so going to miss my yearly visits with Spenser & Hawk now that Parker has passed away. There's at least one more of them, but I'm hoping he had a few more in the can.

Donnajo | 6 comments I guess I should say I'm also playing follow the leader from the m/t board. What can I say a few more great boards will only keep me online longer and I'll have less time to read. LOL. Looking forward to getting to know everyone (that I don't know) and talking books with everyone. I like mysteries, thrillers, cozies at times and romantic suspense. and can I say romance too. And trying to branch out with my nook to fantasy or other stuff I'm going to give a try to (what can I say how can you turn down a free book it helps stop my book buying habit because free books don't count

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

Welcome to you too, Donnajo!

Katherine | 187 comments Sorry, but I have to put a comment in these unused topics as far as I can figure out to remove them from my unread topics listing on my app. Have managed to delete them on the website but they are still unread from the app point of view. Sorry for being such a pain but no other help forthcoming in terms of getting rid of them. Katherine
