Romance Readers Reading Challenges discussion

I was just wondering if anyone would want to do a buddy read. I'm in another group that does it once a month, but I'd love to do a buddy read more often than that. Is anyone interested in reading a book with me?

I love buddy reads! Which book are you planning on reading?

I'm actually open to whatever...I was hoping to find someone who was interested and then maybe decide based on our tbr shelves.

I'd be willing to do this too, just let me know what you want to read. :)

Hmmm. I looked at your TBR shelves & I didn't see anything I plan on reading or can get my hands on any time soon. Hopefully someone else will be happy to join you. Have fun!

If you scroll down the group home page, you will find a folder called Dare-You-To-Read Challenge. This is actually a place to do buddy reads. You can browse through the current threads and see what books/series/themes are already being discussed, or you can start your own.

I know it's a silly question .but, what's a buddy read ?
is it to read the same book and discuss it together? if so I'd love to have buddy read to .
here in Egypt ,I never found a book club and most the people I know doesn't read or only read in Arabic .

Annabell, I noticed we both have Manhunting on our tbr shelf- would love to read this with you whenever you want. If anyone else wants to join in that would be great. No rush, whenever it works out. :)

Hey everyone, Annabell are going to be reading The Hunger Games soon if anyone interested in reading as well. D.G. and Cottonballs, I see we both have some common books on our shelves as well. Maybe next the 4 of us could all read something together. I'm open to read anything. :)

I have read the first one - Hunger Games - but will join when you guys get to book 2 and 3.

I'm planning to read Catching Fire in February. If you are planning to read it then, please let me know and I'll wait for you!

Fran - I would love to do Manhunting some time. I also just added Darkfever to my list, and it looks like that is on your tbr also. Maybe we could do that sometime too...I'd love to read the whole series with you!

D.G. - I am not sure if we will read that one in February or not. I am game for it, so even if Shannon can't, I will join you. For now, I will see if I can get it from the library or if I need to buy it.

And everyone, I am also doing a buddy read with Skena....we will be reading Good Grief starting on Sunday the 30th.

I'll also be buying the whole Fever series by Karen Moning at the begining of next month. I know I'll get to atleast read Darkfever in Feb., probably the next in the series as well. So, I'll join anyone wanting to read that.

I think I need to add all the book on my real TBR shelf to my GR to-read shelf before I can jump on board with this. Must do some editing....

I think there is a discussion started on the Dare-You-to-Read section for the Fever series...but I'm open to discussing it through email also. Yay I am so excited!

Great, just let me know when you are ready to read Manhunting and I'm in. Yes, there is a Fever series thread in the Dare To Read section- keep putting that one off for some reason, but will try to get to it in Feb.

Hey Xiomara! We've got 87% book compatibility (how cool is that!!!) Would you like to read Too Good To Be True by Kristin Higgins? I am not a great fan of Higgins so I think it might be more bearable if I had someone to read it with!

I'm game, let's read that. I started it but put it down and started with something else, it wasn't bad but didn't held my attention.But reading like this, I'll finish it.
