Terminalcoffee discussion

Someone just told me that the average American woman owns 19 pairs of shoes. I don't know exactly how many pairs I have, but I'm pretty sure it's more than 20, and I don't think I'm obsessed with shoes.

Nail polish, yes. Shoes, no.

In the last month I think I've only worn either my Uggs or a cheap pair of canvas slip ons I got for four dollars on clearance.

How many pairs of shoes do you own?

Not sure on the shoes, but I have 3 pair of hiking boots, 2 pair of work boots,2 pair of snow boots and 3 pair of wading boots.

No sandals, Jim? No sneakers?

Oh yeah, I just have to go figure it out.

one pair of snowshoes, say six pairs of heels, three pairs of dress boots, two pairs of winter boots, a pair of hiking boots, one pair of sneakers, and a whole bunch of other miscellaneous shoes. Probably somewhere around 20, give or take...

Seven pairs, not counting slippers or flip-flops. I need new blue sneakers, my old ones are falling apart.

Just when you break 'em in and they're so comfy, they fall apart on you...

I have about 40 pairs, I would guess. Most are packed away (summer or spring shoes) but I would say I only have about 3 or 4 pairs of shoes that I wear all the time.

24 within my field of vision, and I'm guessing about that many more in a cupboard.

I'm most proud of my 5 pair of Converse. I think I'm a 13 year old boy on the inside.

I think I own about 15 pairs of shoes and only wear 4 of them.

I'm closer to Bunwat on this one... 2 pairs of heels, one pair of platforms, one pair of sports shoes, one pair of gladiators, and a pair of flip flops. Also six.

To be fair, several of my pairs of shoes (especially dress shoes/high heels - the ones that I don't wear often enough to give them much of a beating) are at least a few years old.

I don't think I've bought a pair of shoes in over a year.

I don't get the whole putting away "summer" clothes/shoes for the winter thing and vice versa.

Of course all I ever wear is t-shirts, jeans, and shorts...

here i have 3 pairs of converses (one pair is black leather, one standard red, one brown with a pattern on the inside), one pair of fake converses with a cute pattern, one pair of etnies, two pairs of heels (black and purple), one pair of ankle boots with heels, a pair of brown oxfords, a pair of grey leather ballerina flats and a pair of brown leather boots with laces that almost go up to my knees. i need more shoes.

Hmm...three pairs of "nice" shoes, three pairs of heels, two pairs of rockshow boots, two pairs of winter boots, four pairs of riding boots (paddock boots, show boots, tall boots, winter paddock boots), three pairs of casual or show sneakers, one pair of yard work sneakers, one pair of running shoes, one pair of flip flops. That's a surprising number to me, but it wouldn't look so bad if I didn't have to have all those categories.

I get to wear boots in the winter, which makes me soooooo happy, since I live in the North. My summer "put aways" are my flip flops, sandals, etc...Otherwise I wear my sneakers all year long.

I love ballerina flats. They are just so versatile, comfortable and feminine with out (usually) being too young girl-ish.

I love ballet flats, too. I found some awesome leather Reebok ones with rubber soles. I wore big holes through the soles, and when I went back for another pair they were discontinued.

I own probably close to 50 pairs of shoes/boots/sandals/heels... and only wear about 6 pair regularly, depending on the season.

I don't know how many pairs I own, I am afraid to count them. I confess, I have a shoe fetish.
I love boots, I have so many that sometimes I forget where I put them.
I love heels, they hurt me as hell but I feel so sexy and tall and thin. Countless number of those too.
Then there are everyday shoes/boots, I have about 3-4 pairs that I use all the time to go to work and run errands.

My all time favourite shoes are Sergio Rossi's.

If you like them so much, buy your own. That Sergio guy must get awful tired of you borrowing them all the time.

Phil, the problem is that I don't borrow, I steal! I never give them back. Poor Sergio tried with a restriction order, to no avail.

Haha! Thanks... But they are ex-gladiators now. Now I shall have to wear Polo heels or something. There went my last pair of go-out-sy flats.
