Somebody tell me how to do the spoiler tags 'cause I've got some Black Swan stuff to share..."
That'd be a shock, huh? I'm far from any type of prude but I'm not sure I'd care to see this in a movie.

Bleh...
::shivers::
Shake it off, shake it off...

Your spoiler freaked me out as well. Surprise! :0

I'm so going to rent this movie.
Black Swan was so damned good.
My favorite WTF moment ever is from The Silence of the Lambs, when Buffalo Bill is getting himself all glammed up...well, you know the rest.

Really, Britt? How can "Alright, I'm the Messiah, now fuck off!" went over your head?

Big embarrassing WTF.

Oh. My. Gawd.

Michele wrote, my mom took my son (then age 8) to the movies one afternoon while she was babysitting him to see: "Looking for Mr.Goodbar". She thought it was about candy. Needless to say, they walked out. My mom was VERY naive and definitely not "with it".
That brings up a point of contention I have regarding taking children to see a movie. I'm forgiving of your mom taking your son to see that film (it came out in 1977 or '78, correct?) since we didn't have such quick access to movie info. But we recently saw Black Swan, knowing full well what the film is about (I refuse to see a film unless I have an idea of what it's about); I was APPALLED to see a 10-year-old girl with her parents. They must have thought Black Swan would be like The Red Shoes. The little girl looked traumatized after the film ended. If she ends up in therapy, I blame her parents for taking her to see this movie, perhaps under different assumptions.
Another time was when my wife and I saw Zack and Miri Make a Porno; there were a couple of older women in the row in front of us who complained about the content of the film. Hello? It's not called Zack and Miri Make a Porno because it's a film about pottery, you dumb twats.

Mary wrote, There were some seriously nauseating WTF moments in Antichrist--the one with Willem Dafoe, not the horror flick. I got the two confused and regret it to this day.
I despise Lars von Trier and his hideously misogynistic films. That man has some serious woman-hating issues, and I'm not surprised Antichrist was chock-full of the same regurgitated crap. I haven't seen it, nor will I, because of my pure hatred for von Trier.

*nm* It was Devil's Advocate I think. That scene weirded me out for some reason and I was still fairly young, but not so young either that it should have shocked me.
Was it Short Cuts where Julianne Moore had the full frontal? I can't remember who I saw it with but that scene made me uncomfortable. It wasn't even a sex scene. At least in a sex scene you're primed to expect some nudity.
Also Isabella Rossellini in Blue Velvet...

She was arguing with her husband, and she had on a shirt but nothing below it. It was definitely shocking for its casualness.

Traveling right to my doorstep. :)
