I was going to get it on Kindle but I could not resist owning it in hardcover. The book is beautiful and it has the deckle edge pages. Basically makes the edge of the paper look old like an old journal.

LMAO, you're not the only one. I'm not a big fan of it either. I like more artsy YA covers like Shiver, Linger, Hush Hush, Fallen...

Actually I think this is gonna push me to read it now :)

Funny thing is... I like the Shiver covers too. I love that series. I can't wait for Forever. I haven't read Fallen or Hush,Hush yet but the covers are nice.

Haha, good to know! Too much purple, glitter and floweriness for my taste...though I'll be interested to see how it relates to the idea of werewolves/shifters :D
I'm a bit of a graphic design nut, so my eye is generally caught by interesting compositions, colour combinations and the like - in fact, I'm feeling suddenly inspired to make an 'Awesome Covers' shelf! It shall be done *runs off*

What covers would go on your shelf? (An awesome cover shelf is a great idea! I may have to do that too.)

Hmm, I'm going to have to go cover-stalking, find some good ones - can't think of many off the top of my head! Here are some of the ones on my new shelf though:

Also, has anyone else seen the old TMI covers? These are what my copies look like:

Thank you for sharing! I love these books. I set the Chinese one as my desktop on my computer. :) I wish she could sell them as posters or have them as bookmarks or postcards. I would buy any of them for my room. I am always jealous of the swag people get in YouTube videos. I want swag too!

It's funny that you say this because when I saw those book covers int he blog I went looking for books that had been made into posters. I have a few that I would frame in my house. Unfortunately I couldn't' find newer books that were turned into posters. Only old classics.

Hahaha it's such an eye catching green!! My only problem, is the purple cover her coloring of the person is different (hair color and skin) and she is an actual person where as the purple is not a real person

I would love to have a few book themed posters. Did you find a website for them? I will have to browse the web. I know there are some newer ones like The Hunger Games but I think it may just be of the bird logo. I don't know of many others.

That Jane Eyre one is similar to this Jane Austen biography I just read. I've seen lots of repeat covers since I've been on GR. I never noticed before...

You'd think that there would be a real market for these, like movie posters...

I agree you would think there would be. Even just mini size ones would be fun to put up on walls in home offices and libraries. I will let you know if I find anything cool.
