Awesome! I love them both. I thought the movie was incredible. I love Hayao Miyazaki!

Just finished Nicholas Dane. I liked it ... only it was WAY too depressing. It's a good thing it ended well. Definitely got me thinking though.

I recently made it through Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn , but now find myself chipping away at all sorts of different books, not really being captivated by anything in particular right now.

(I think my birthday is really bothering me this year.) :(

Hopefully something takes soon.

I'm currently reading Across the Universe (Across the Universe, #1) by Beth Revis and saw this new book Full Count by C.A. Williams .

I miss good graphic designers and illustrators. I have to say that the generic photo covers are really just turning me off. Remember this thing called "creativity"?

Bethany | 578 comments Anna is AWESOME!!! I love that book. I've probably read it about 5 times or so. It never gets old. I was a little disappointed with the sequel, but am super excited for the third book coming in (i think) May.

The "Book Thief" is one of the best YA books ever written ~ about German sympathizers; told from a young girl's point of view. Very well written.

It is now required reading in many American schools. BRAVO!

Really? bummer. I really liked that one. But as far as literature goes, it was kinda on the mellow side, I guess. Not exactly earth shattering amazing. But I still enjoyed it a lot.
