I didn't like Masque as much as I thought I would. But I can't really say where the disconnect was for me. I dunno. It was good and it was original, there was just something missing for me. Maybe with the characters? I wasn't crazy about the MC. Perhaps that was it.

I finished Pushing the Limits last night (ok, this morning;) it was a really fun read. She's so great with characters.
Too bad about Masque for you. I hate when everything should be great but something's off about a book. I hope I like it. I lOVE Poe.

I am reading Article 5 by Kristen Simmons. She is a new author I have not heard of, and her book is really captivating. I found this book in Barnes and Noble's and the cover art caught my attention. I am guilty, I do judge books by their covers :)

I just read Tiger's Curse and I really hope I don't offend those that liked the book but I really hated it. I found the pacing abysmal, I didn't like the main character at all, and I felt that there was too much tell, don't show.

I only read the second book.
The Lightening Thief, however, is amazing! Percy Jackson is a great series, one of my favorites. Enjoy!
Right now, I'm reading Dear John by Nicholas Sparks. I am a big fan of his novels. This book is sad and I can kind of relate to this novel. My boyfriend isn't in the army or marines or anything but he is far away at school right now. So, this book has a connection with me and it makes it whole lot better when I can relate to the book and myself.
