Eduarda Silveira (eduarda_silveira) | 2 comments I'm reading Bridget Jones' Diary (once again)

message 14252: by Becca (new)

Becca (beccawills) I'm half way through The Book Thief now, but I too, think my love for it has more to do with the characters themselves then the storyline. Of course, I do find the story line great and the suspense of not knowing what will come next is good, but I fell in love with all of the characters, even Rosa.

Haley (SinnerOfRandomness) | 8 comments I'm reading a bunch of books, at the moment. I think I'm the most into Beautiful Creatures but I'm also reading Looking for Alaska. I think so I don't become a flustered mess I'm going to take a break from Looking for Alaska so I can finish Beautiful Creatures without having to re-read everything.

THE BOOK THIEF I WANT TO READ THAT SO BADDDDDD AHHHHH
so many books to read, not enough time

Juana | 7 comments Yes!! I read The Fault In Our Stars is amazing, i love it!

message 14257: by Alex (new)

Alex S | 1 comments I'm new to this group, and relatively new to Goodreads as well. :)

I'm currently reading the fifth book in A Song of Ice and Fire, A Dance With Dragons (if anyone is unaware, this series inspired the TV show Game of Thrones). Highly, highly recommend.

I'm also a little way into The Perks of Being a Wallflower, which I should've gotten around to reading awhile ago, but never did!

I've scanned the posts on this page, and just wanted to comment about John Green - I've read Paper Towns, Looking for Alaska, and The Fault in Our Stars. TFIOS was the favorite for me, as it is for most fans of his. Looking for Alaska was next; I loved the profound ending. Paper Towns, though...it didn't really do it for me. Not my favorite read. Love Green's writing style, but the plot was lacking, in my opinion.

message 14268: by Miso (new)

Miso Hime (misohime) | 18 comments To Zara: I'm not sure if anyone would take my recommendations, but the ones I enjoyed the most are:

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer, #1) by Michelle Hodkin Altered (Altered, #1) by Jennifer Rush The Darkest Minds (The Darkest Minds, #1) by Alexandra Bracken The Collector (Dante Walker, #1) by Victoria Scott

To Anne: You should pick it up! It's definitely worth the read. I'm currently reading the series as well. I've got all 6 to marathon in preparation of the movie, but from what I've read, it's very enjoyable.

Since my last post:
Academy 7 by Anne Osterlund Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead

Currently reading:
Frostbite (Vampire Academy, #2) by Richelle Mead

PS. Does anybody else seem to feel that the Vampire Academy series is a whole lot like the Half-Blood/Covenant series by Jennifer L. Armentrout?
I'd definitely recommend that one for those who enjoyed theVampire Academy series.
