I know, Christine, LOL! There is already a wrench in the works, as my public library sent me V is for Vengeance (Kinsey Millhone, #22) by Sue Grafton and I've been waiting for it for over two months.

Great!!! I hope you like it, make sure is the unbridged version, I remember audible only used to carried the abridge version, and it was horrible, so many good parts were missing.
So many books I want to re-visit...dammm..we need more time..lol

I've been re-listening to "THE CHICAGO STARS" Series by Susan Elizabeth Philips, and wow! I just never get bored with it, Anna Fields/Kate Fleming was absolutely fantastic, I'm sure I mentioned before..lol. I can't get over that fact that she won't be recording anymore books.

I started to get Driving Mr. Dead on audio but I didn't want to "waste" a credit on it. So I went the ebook route since it was cheaper. I love Harper's Jane Jameson series on audio.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 296 comments Taking care of a sick friend, I let them call the shots on what we listened to:
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter, #1) by J.K. Rowling (Jim Dale) & The Daybreakers (Sacketts, #6) by Louis L'Amour - both excellent! David Strathairn narrated the last one (he is one of my friend's favorite actors; that is why I picked it). Excellent job.

Currently listening to Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices #1) by Cassandra Clare Mine Till Midnight (The Hathaways, #1) by Lisa Kleypas and loving both.

I was enjoying A Discovery of Witches (All Souls Trilogy, #1) by Deborah Harkness - but I starting playing chauffeur for my friend and have't gotten back to it.

I finished Driving Mr. Dead by Molly Harper it was short and funny, if you enjoy this author's sense of humor you will also like this book.
I finished a re- listen of the last 4 books on the BDB, I'm ready for Lover Reborn.
I wonder if re-reading a book counts on your reading challenge, I'm falling way behind because I've been re- listening to old favorites..lol

I love her. I've listened to all the Jane Jameson series and I've read How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf.

I grabbed How to Seduce a Naked Werewolf a few weeks back when it was on sale at audible.com.

Yes!! those all are on my favorite listens, and how wonderful was Anna Fields?

Christine (Cagnes) (cagnes) | 131 comments Anna Fields is wonderful! The main reason I'm taking a break from the series is because i was enjoying the audiobooks a little too much! I found myself listening to the books when I had other things to do. ;-)

I just added Unholy Ghosts (Downside Ghosts, #1) by Stacia Kane to my tbr pile, I'll have to check my library for that one.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 296 comments Just finished Rainshadow Road by Lisa Kleypas and was glad I did b/c the narrator made the heroine sound lighter and brighter than in the paperback.

Also just finished Silver Borne (Mercedes Thompson, #5) by Patricia Briggs - that series!

What to listen to now?... back to A Discovery of Witches (All Souls Trilogy, #1) by Deborah Harkness , since I got derailed from it due to Real Life?

Or should I go on to The Prize by Julie Garwood to complete a challenge? Or be tempted away by something by Susan Elizabeth Phillips, since you ladies are twisting my arm. LOL!

Or should I just splurge and get River Marked (Mercy Thompson, #6) by Patricia Briggs and listen to it b/f I read Fair Game (Alpha & Omega #3) by Patricia Briggs b/c I understand there is a spoiler for River Marked if you read Fair Game first! Eep!

I finished today Unholy Ghosts (Downside Ghosts, #1) by Stacia Kane Mixed emotions about the heroine, but not about how much I liked the book, this was a solid 4 stars for me.
Narrator at first doesn't seem a good choice, but by the end of book I really liked her performance.
I'm now listening to Unholy Magic (Downside Ghosts, #2) by Stacia Kane

message 500: by Lisa Kay (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 296 comments I was listening to Texas Rain (Whispering Mountain, #1) by Jodi Thomas while doing housework. Company is here now and I can't listen further; too bad, because it is very good.
