I loved this book from the first chapter to the last.
I was thinking to myself how wonderful it was to be back in the BDB’s world, taken back by the excellent narration and interpretation of Jim Frangioni. He does just a masterful job with the characters, he truly captures each personality to the max, he’s voice is sensual, sexy, strong and just plain cool, delivering with exactitude JR Ward’s style of writing.
I highly recomend this audio book.

Can't wait to start it, I think Jim Frangioni is awesome! I'll be listening to Lover Unleashed as soon as I finish

I'm really going to have to give this series another try. I have the first one in paperback. Maybe I should have tried audio.

I've only done audio versions of this series, but I think I loved this series so much because of Jim Frangioni's narration. Some of the lines are just so corny, but when Jim reads them in that deep sexy voice they sound just right!
It's great on audio, the narrator is sooo good. I think this is one of those cases when a narrator makes a good book into a better one.

Jim is great in this book, I guess he's good all the time, he's just sound so perfect for these books.

Oh? A deep, sexy voice? I'm intrigued, ladies!
I always post a 5 to 6 minutes sample on my blog, you can check it out here:

No spoilers, is only part of the first chapter, and see what you think.

Narrator Sandra Burr does a good job on all the various voices necessary for the first in this small-town series.

Great reviews so far on Amazon, only 3.1/2 stars on audible, I'm surprise, same narrator, and he's been great with the previous books.. any way I'll let you know.

I hope you like it."
I do! I read the book, so I thought I'd try the audio and I like the audio way more. I had the samething with What I Did For Love... much preferred the audio than the actual read. lol I like this reader a lot! She's very funny and when she plays the male characters, she does a good job.

A bout the narration… I have to say I was a little surprise when I saw only 3.1/2 stars ratings for the first few posting on audible’s page, especially when the ratings for this book on Amazon.com have been nothing but 5 stars and four stars, so I decided to go with my past history with Max Bellmore, as he has been one of my favorite narrators and still is, but I hate to say in my opinion this wasn’t one of he’s best performances, and I so wish I could be sharing different feelings about it, but I felt like it was a little over dramatized, I never gotten this impression from him before, never the less I still very much enjoyed the book, and I still recommend it. If you already love this series this a must listen

She's great, she does a great job.

She's great, she does a great job.

LOL! Until I got to the "...board your flight" part, I thought maybe you were talking about your OBGYN!!!

Ummm..I just decided to put it aside. :) I think I can count on one hand the number of words they've spoken to eachother and they're already getting busy again...in her kitchen...with delicious manicotti just sitting there! lol
I like a tad more tension, suspense and uh...conversation before they get down to it. ;)
I'm going to start

Just finished listening toNotorious Pleasures, The narrator was just ok, but I liked the book very much.

Lol, that would have been funny too.

I like the sound of this one Lisa Kay..how many in the series? Hope I can get it at the library to listen to.

I think Lupdilup has listened to most of them. Unfortunately, my library doesn't have the audio.

Thanks Lisa Kay..they are hard to find in book form as well!

Isn't that a new movie or something?
