I'm been listening to
and I started yesterday with
I'd forgotten how good Jacob's book was, great introduction to the Nightwalkers series.

And what I am enjoying about the Nightwalkers series is how, while each builds on the last and continues in the same vein as those previous, each book has a different feel and focus as the romantic leads change with each story. I didn't think they would feel as different and yet similar as they do, but they do (if that makes any sort of sense).
So glad you're enjoying it!

Exactly, my favorite is Elijah, can't wait to revisit. I'm enjoying Jacob's book very much, I'm almost finish, this series only gets better and better. This a great way to re-visit or to listen to for the first time. Great male voices.

Thanks so much! Worked very hard to give the male characters the deep voices called for. Just prepping "Elijah" now - start recording on Monday. I love the initial scenes of that one!

Great giveaway! The first book in this sereis, Raziel, is my next listen. I've read the protagonist in this book is a bit of a dark hero, that's right up my alley.

Yes, the heroes in both the Fallen books so far are deliciously "difficult". I love how strong the women are in response.

Well that's what Douglas does so well...dark heroes that we initially hate - but whom we come to love (hating ourselves for doing so).

Isn't that the truth? I wouldn't put up for a second with some of this guys...lol, I don't know where the attraction comes from. Never mind, I do. I'm big fan of redemption.

Perhaps we love them so because it gives us a safe place to choose them.

Gracious! How do you do that? Do the stories mingle in your head?
I finished
, This really good, great narration.
I'm now listening to :
and be carfull what you wish for, I always wanted a male narrator for male parts, but in this case I wish Karen White(she's great) was the only narrator, I'm having a real hard time with the male narrator.

I'm now listening to :

I've heard wonderful things about Tavia Gilbert's narration of this series.

Yes, she is doing a great job. I think that really helps the book too. The villain is really evil, though. Ugh!

LOL Lupdilup! And that list was just the current audio books I was working on. Didn't include eBooks and print books. :-) I LOVE audio books. I'd read only a small fraction of what I get through in a year now if not for audio books.

Nope. I've never had a problem keeping the stories straight in my head. Just like any kind of multi tasking. I compartmentalize what I'm listening to/reading at that moment.

I finally finished listening to this book(I was on a family trip, costantlly on the go with the hubby and daughter).
I have to say, I liked it so much more when I read it, the narrator did an ok job,(it wasn't bad)and actually she did an excellent job with Pia(the heroine) but I wasn't to happy with the overall tone of the story, I think I would had liked it a lot more if I've not read the book before I listen to it. I would recommend the audio, but not after reading the book.

After I thought about it little more, I think the audiobook was pretty good, I just didn't like the way one of the characters was narrated, really not a big deal, I'm always more critical when I've read the book before I listen to it.

I never order books on CD, but in this case I made an exception, pretty excited about this one, I have read the entire series, but I never read the very first book, a male and female narrator(I hope the guy is good) ;)

I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve read this one; thought I’d try the audiobook this time. So far enjoying the narration by Rosalyn Landor.

Took me FOREVER to get thru "Twilight Series"...that was before I got my iPod and only listened during my commute (which was a 2 hr round trip).

I really liked this one. I'm currently listening to the sequel, Never Knowing.

Is it about the same girl...did not know there was a sequel???

No it's not about the same woman. I didn't realize the two books were connected until I saw something written somewhere about it. The two books are connected through the psychiatrist. I don't even remember her name being mentioned in the first book but the main character in the second book goes to the same psychiatrist as in the first book.

Ghosts? And not very nice ones. Romance?. I have to say the main romance was
ok, I did get how much they love each other. I liked the characters, but I had to
admit I had a hard time feeling the romance, I was a little spooked with the
ghost’s parts, I always listen before going to sleep, hard to feel the
romance, when you scared (I don’t do
ghost’s stories)..lol, but I did find the book very entertaining, and all I can
say is Angela Dawe did a great job with the narration, I was most definitely spooked...
