I'm starting The Warlord Wants Forever
this is only 3.1/2 hrs. I'll finish tonight. I just downloaded it from audible.. meanwhile the CD I ordered has not arrive yet, I couldn't wait ( that's bad), so I'll be giving away the CD among the members of this group. I'll keep you posted.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 296 comments Currently listening to Die for You by Lisa Unger for a "U" author. Well narrated by Ann Marie Lee and a nice surprise for a new-to-me-author.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 296 comments Almost finished with U Is for Undertow (Kinsey Millhone Series #21) by Sue Grafton ; listening to it in the car (and that is what is taking so long, as I don't drive much) and coming to the end - wanted to sit in the car and finish it. I would go for a drive, but gas is sooooo expensive, not to mention the air pollution, LOL! I think Judy Kaye has narrated Grafton's books from the beginning, right? She does a great job.

I finally received The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Millennium, #1) by Stieg Larsson from the libary, so that is up next.

I started this, and I couldn't finish, maybe I'll give it a second chance, I can't remember why I didn't like it, but I don't think It was the narration, this series is so popular I imagine it's because it's good.
Let me know what how you liked it when you finished.

Just finished Lord of the Vampires (Royal House of Shadows, #1) by Gena Showalter
I don't know what to think anymore about one of my favorites Authors, Gena Showalter, I love her Lords of the Underworld series, but this is the second audiobook that I had a hard time with, this one right here, I thought it had a bad plot, and bad narration, so the book didn't have chance.
I just had to add, that this how I felt with the first book of Lords of The Underworld, and now it's one of my favorite series, maybe I'll just read it, than again, the Lords of the U. is narrated by the fabulous Max Bellmore ♥ him.

I started the first book in this series a while back but didn't get far into it. I think this is a series you have to really pay attention to what's going on and can't do what I usually do and listen while doing other things. So I ended up putting it down and just havne't started it back up again. I plan to at some point though.

I really fell in love with Evy in this series. Miss having her knocking around in my head. But I think you have to start with Three Days to Dead in order to really understand the other two books. Romance thread is very much present, but in an emotional sense vs. physical manifestation. Think action movie vs. romance. Least, that was my impression. Hope you enjoy it!

Just so you know, Another Kind of Dead is part of a series and since it's urban fantasy revolving around the same character you have to read them in order or you'll be lost. The first book is Three Days to Dead. I can't remember if AKoD is book 2 or 3 but I know it's not book 1.

Read these & loved this series!

Christine (Cagnes) (cagnes) | 131 comments Just finished Acheron (Dark-Hunter, #15) by Sherrilyn Kenyon & loved it, really good narration!

Starting A Feast for Crows (A Song of Ice and Fire, #4) by George R.R. Martin . John Lee narrates this one, where as Roy Dotrice narrates the others in this series. I love Roy Dotrice's narration of the series, but so far John Lee's doing a good job.

I do like John Lee, he narrates Ken Follet's The Pillars of the Earth series and Fall of Giants & did an amazing job with them!

Pillars of the Earth is one of my favorites books, and I'm taking my time with A clash of Kings, I've been trying to work my way up to Acheron, but God! there's so many books before you get to it, the last book I listened to was book #5 in that series, I know it will be worth the wait.
I'm listening to As Lie the Dead (Dreg City, #2) by Kelly Meding
and I'm really enjoying this UF series.

Lupdilup, I liked the book (a lot) but I didn't love the Narrator...Her reading voice was okay for me, but when she did characters voices it got on my nerves:( I need to check if it's the same nar. for the rest of the series, if so I'll be reading them instead of listening!
