so you're new to goodreads?

That I am, I joined like a month ago but I decided that I'd actually get more involved. I love making friends so I thought I'd give it a shot ;)

haha yeah i spend most of my time on it.. it gets addicting :P

Ahaha I know the feeling.... Tumblr is addicting too...I always wind up chatting to people on Tumblr or e-mail XD

my friends got tumblr and every lunch theyre on their phones, browsing through people pages or whatever.. and they got so happy when someone commented on their pages :P

Yeah that's basically Tumblr XDXD I'm mostly there 'cause of friends. I'm more than happy with my books XD

haha same :P it comes in handy for finding books for projects ;)

It must be:
at least 200 pages
Be at at least a seventh grade reading level (Higher is good)

I would appreciate:
Clean (no sex, no really bad swears)
Not a romance (can have some, but not the whole plot please)
NOT non-fiction
Not boring (um DUH!)

Have you looked into either the obvious Harry Potter? If you want something more off the beaten path I'd look into Artemis Fowl, Inkheart, or Septimus Heap.

that sucksss :P yeah we just came back from march break so it was a horrible day, plus i was in a fight with this guy.. and hes my history partner.. yeah high school woot! woot! :P

It was Cone Day Today! and it was awesome! For those of you who ain't know what that is. It means unlimited free ice cream cones :D!! and so, the moment the bell rang we all went flying out of school to the nearest Ice Cream shop! it was CRAZY!

Got my cone, I stomach ache, and my feet hurt from running this huge ramp outside my school xD

Oh, and I gave my friends a ride. 19 people. Squashed in my Jeep Liberty.
I couldn't look the reviewer mirror xDD! Don't EVER try that ^^

Once we did something like that, we went from my school to mcdonalds in my mom's car, we were about 12 girls in a 5 people car lol never going to try that again

LOL, DQ invented it. They change it every year so, we basically stalk DQ's Facebooks to see when cone day is. They tell you one day before and still I have a half our line xD

In the love sense...Someone might make me feel good make my heart warm, etc. but there needs to be more (before I fall in love with him) and I'm just trying to find it. (Idk :P)

I'm not in a relationship at all but just thinking I don't want a relationship with a guy that is just feelings. I want something REAL (actions...and I don't mean sex).

I fell out of bed today.

That hadn't happened to me since I was like, 8 year old! Why? My alarm clock was beeping and I was to lazy to get up and turn it off. So I just reached out, stretched... stretched. and Wham! I pulled a JLo - you know, "get on the floor"? - It hurt.

BTW: I did reached the alarm clock xD

Ahaha Every girl does not need a boyfriend! Ever watched the Luan Legacy video on youtube about not needing a boyfriend? It really raises your self esteem. I have a boyfriend and sometimes they can be really sweet or you can get a bad one.(x

I just dont like boyfriends. Im not the kinda person that needs/wants one. Personally I think you have more fun when your single :P

I didn't really want one, when I got one. Being single is definitely more fun. :D

No I have a couple of friends in relationship drama. 1 has a crush on a guy who was flirting with her to make his guy friend mad b/c the guy friend reallllly likes this girl (and Im friends with all of them so its hard for me to talk about it with all of them)

Another friend is the rebound girl with a guy who is...an a**(in my opinion and almost everyone elses) but she doesnt see it. Shes trying to get over a guy who was almmost as big of an a** and Im caught in the middle again.

*sigh* I cant even handle other peoples problems with boyfriends I could never do my own

O.O Guys that I talk to don't do that. >.< I would kill them if they tried maybe that's why. I don't know, but guys at our school know how to treat a girl right. There are douches, but the girls don't really like them. Don't just give up on relationships. You'll find the right guy, but don't go looking for them. :) They usually find you.

You're so right! After I got out of a 5 year on/off relationship, I decided I would quit looking for guys and enjoy being single for once. Later that same year, I became good friends with this guy and after a while, we decided to be more than friends and we're still together after 3.5 years ^__^; Lol, it's like once I stopped looking, he just kinda showed up!

Yeah its fun alright. But then when your friends around you have a guy in their life, thats the point when you start to feel lonely and stuff(or maybe jealous). Trust me. Your friend is your friend, that wont change. But at some point, they wont be spending too much time with you like you always do with each other when all of us are single. Its kinda suck tho. Sigh :/
