So go ahead, tell us your name, favorite genre, and if you were an animal what would it be and why.

Hey Mindy, good to see you here.

I'm not sure if I have a favorite genre--more that I like well-written books that tend toward lean prose, fast-paced, some depth to it, and strong endings--whether that's horror, crime, mystery, sci-fi, etc, although these days I read mostly crime, write mostly crime and/or horror.

If I have to pick an animal, these days it would be a sloth...

You do have quite a way with the fast pace...which makes the sloth comment that much more ironical. Funny how these things work sometimes.

I've been feeling like a sloth the last week or so--finding excuses to do everything but work on my latest book. Interesting, I have my black belt in Hung Gar Kung fu, which is southern style animal forms, and the animal form I feel most comfortable with is leopard.
