One of my favourite Aussie crime novels is Alice to Nowhere by Evan Green. But my favourite true crime novel would have to be Leadbelly: Inside Australia's Underworld Wars by John Silvester and Andrew Rule. This book is the basis for the Underbelly TV series.

I don't read a lot of true crime but I added all the books that have won the Ned Kelly Award for best true crime book for the last few years (since the award was first given)

My hubby is reading this, Over But Not Out, by Richie Benaud and he's thoroughly enjoying it. He's not a reader, so it must be enjoyable..:)
