My edition had only 96 pages. I was reading it to my twins for bedtime and we did look up the author and read a 2 page bio on him. The Penguin edition has over 100 pages but I don't know if this will count. If not, that's okay.

Correct, you don't get combo points for the book when completing the task. Combo points only get added if the book qualifies for tasks other than the one you're claiming points for.
