Kristina (klonk) Hello everybody. Thought I'd introduce myself a little bit. I joined Goodreads and this book club today, and I am updating my reads, since I've been making lists of what I read since 2006.

Anyway. My name's Kristina, I'm 21 and currently live in Stockholm, Sweden. I'm studying at the University here to become a preschool/primary school teacher. And on my free time, guess what I do most? Read, of course.

The Book Whisperer (aka Boof) Hi Kristina and welcome to the group. You're in great company on here, hope you enjoy!

message 9: by Kristina (new)

Kristina (klonk) Thanks, everybody!
And I'm having second thoughts about adding all the books I've read since 2006. Do I really want to add 208 books to my list of what I have read? Or should I start now, and go from here? I'm not sure.

message 10: by Hayley (new)

Hayley | 95 comments Add them all, I've got quite a few from my childhood, all the books I could remember reading from my degree and I'm sure I've got loads missing, so go for it, as you'll see we all have massive book lists.

April (booksandwine) | 954 comments oh yeah and 21 year old education majors are totally awesome ;-)

message 14: by Kristina (new)

Kristina (klonk) I did read them as a kid, but I was more into Gösta Knutsson and Astrid Lindgren, so I think I'll put Tove Jansson on my to-read list. :) I know my dad has all the Moomin-books.

Beth Knight (zazaknittycat) | 501 comments Welcome, Kristina. My oldest son's girlfriend is studying to be a preschool teacher, too. I think you'll really enjoy this group. Be prepared to spend a lot of time reading all the posts!

message 16: by Beth (new)

Beth Knight (zazaknittycat) | 501 comments Kristina, I've been keeping a list of what I've read since 1999 and I'm tempted to add them to my GR list but it will take me forever. Maybe when the kids go back to school...

message 17: by Kristina (new)

Kristina (klonk) I've made my boyfriend write lists of the books he reads as well, and I've made my father's wife do the same thing. And my dad recently told me he's been writing lists of the movies he watches and the books he's reading since before me and my elder sisters were born, so at least since 1982! I guess making lists runs in the family. :P
