Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

I know currently there is no way to search by series on Goodreads. Will there be?

In the meantime for anyone who wants to search for a series on Goodreads may use the following methods if approved by GR:

(note: If a series has just been recently setup it will not appear right away; may take up to 24hrs for Google to index it.)

1. If using Firefox or Chrome you can simply type the following in your browser url bar:
site:www.goodreads.com/series/

e.g. star wars site:www.goodreads.com/series/

2. Use my already pre customized search engine located here: http://goo.gl/F2Snz

3. OR Add it to your own browser
For chrome right-click url bar and edit search engines.
— click add
— enter what ever you want in the title of the search engine
— I use grseries for keyword, but you can use what ever you like
— enter the following in the url field:
"http://www.google.com/search?q=%s+sit..."
— Then save.

For firefox
You can just go here (http://goo.gl/Nse82) and install by clicking on "Goodreads Custom"; this will allow you to search the entire site of goodreads, but by adding series to your search term (e.g. Star Wars vs Star Wars Series) will provide a Series list.

I'll link that from our current non linked series index.
