I don't go to the movies very often, but I enjoy the films shown on TCM-TV. Every once in a while a good movie comes along which I try to see. -Joy H.

There's a new movie being advertised now... "The Duchess". I assume it's about the Duchess of Windsor. Now THAT should be a good movie! :) -Joy H.

My sister and I went to the movies on Friday. We saw "The Duchess". I had mistakenly assumed that the film would be about the Duchess of Windsor, for whom an English king had abdicated his throne. I was temporarily disappointed when I found that the Duchess in question was the Duchess of Devonshire who lived back in the 1700s. My disappointment was short-lived... the cinematography is outstanding; the story is engrossing; and the performers are world favorites. Some of the background music was a bit over the top dramatically, but I can forgive that because I enjoyed the movie so much.

I forgot about this movie, I definitely want to see it. I like Keira Knightley. And period films too.
