Debik | 4 comments Probably 20 years ago I read a book called, I think, The Five Lives of ____and that is all I can remember. I cannot remember the name which is the rest of the title. It tells the stories, of the main characters 5 parallel lives. I'm sorry I can't remember more than that really.

Kris | 215 comments Was it Parellel Lives: Five Victorian Marriges by Phyllis Rose? It was printed in 1984.

Brian | 2 comments Any idea of the genre? If YA, maybe The Lives of Christopher Chant?

message 5: by Debik (new)

Debik | 4 comments No when I read it in the late 80's, very early 90's it was used then...a borrowed book. It was more along a spiritual discovery type book...pretty small book if I remember correctly. I haven't found it googling and even rediscovered the friend I borrowed it from, and she had no idea what I was talking about...sometimes you just have to wonder if you lost a small piece of your mind!! lol! Thanks for the help!!

Ms.soule (mrssoule) | 109 comments This isn't The Five People You Meet in Heaven is it? The small, spiritual part fits, but I think it was published in 2003.

Debik | 4 comments No none of these, but thanks so much for trying!

My Five Lives
message: In reference to the discussion in "What's the Name of that Book":

The author of My Five Lives (Sweden, 1962 as Mine fem Liv) was Gusti Stridsberg. She has an entry in the Swedish Wikipedia.

Please pass this on to the interested party.

and

Gusti Stridsberg was originally Austrian. The book was probably first published in German.
