Jeanine (truejourney) | 315 comments I finished the third book in the Hunger Games Trilogy, Mockingjay, yesterday. I was hoping I could get reccomendations for other books from others who read, and loved, the Hunger Games. Preferabbly something that is just as good as the series but it doesn't have to be in the same genre. Any reccomendations????

Amber | 43 comments I've heard that Inside Out (Inside Out, #1) by Maria V. Snyder and Outside In (Inside Out, #2) by Maria V. Snyder are pretty good, haven't read them yet though!

Try the Chaos trilogy: The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking, #1) by Patrick Ness The Ask and the Answer (Chaos Walking, #2) by Patrick Ness Monsters of Men (Chaos Walking, #3) by Patrick Ness . I'm on the second book right now and I just might like this series a little more than Hunger Games.

They are awesome! I loved them. :-)

Fans of the Hunger Games also seem to like The Maze Runner (Maze Runner, #1) by James Dashner and The Scorch Trials (Maze Runner, #2) by James Dashner . I have friends who loved both.

Hunger Games is on my "I will get it it" list. Just need to slog through the titles on my TBR shelf.

Jeanine (truejourney) | 315 comments Sweet! Thanks everyone. I am going to check all of these books out and see which one I want to read first.

I ♥ Bookie Nookie (bookienookiereviews.blogspot.com) (ibookienookie) The following series is different, but reminds me a little of the hunger games:

Fire (The Seven Kingdoms Trilogy, #2) by Kristin Cashore Graceling (The Seven Kingdoms Trilogy, #1) by Kristin Cashore

And the 3rd in the series: Bitterblue

Kelli (incababy32) | 3 comments I really liked Uglies (Uglies, #1) by Scott Westerfeld PrettiesSpecials. I liked Inside Out (Inside Out, #1) by Maria V. Snyder and Outside In but not nearly as much as HG. I just read Deliriumand really liked it but the trilogy doesn't end until 2013. I read The Maze Runner (Maze Runner, #1) by James Dashner but heard that The Scorch Trials (Maze Runner, #2) by James Dashner ends in a big cliffhanger so I am waiting until the final book comes out to read the last two.

Jeanine (truejourney) | 315 comments I am so excited for all of these book recomendations. I have started Graceling (The Seven Kingdoms Trilogy, #1) by Kristin Cashore . It has been a little hard for me to get into, but I was told it is like that for a lot of people. I'm hanging in there.

I think it is the world building that makes the beginning drag a bit...
