Aladino | 13 comments Hello everybody,
I have a couple of books with all the original serie of Dune by Frank Herbert:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/97...
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/97...
(they are Italian translations)

Each book contains three novels but in the title of the book the serie are numbered just as #1 (for the first book) and #2 (for the secon book)

Shouldn't a number be associated with a single novel and not with a book? I would have expected to find #1, #2, #3 (for the first book) and #4, #5, #6 (for the second book). IMHO it makes more sense.

Do you think it is ok if I correct this?

Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments I've combined those books and made sure that they're part of the main Dune series, but they're also volumes 1 and 2 of a Dune omnibus series, so they should be numbered to match that series as well.

Do you mean on this page: http://www.goodreads.com/series/58317...?
I wouldn't, but I don't even think that page is necessary at all since this series page covers it: http://www.goodreads.com/series/45935..., and it does have the correct numbers.
