Hi Rebecca! yes, I have a blog and post about reading (along with the home and family posts). My blog friend Ricki and I host a "What We're Reading" blog party on the 20th of every month. I hope you'll link up with us. My blog is www.theboatwrightfamily.blogspot.com. I'll head to your blog now and become your latest follower!

My blog is christashookedonbooks.blogspot.com and I do review a number of 1001 Books but also books that aren't on the list.
I look forward to checking out all the blogs listed above and I hope you guys check out mine!

Anthony DeCastro | 168 comments I have one at www.thinmanjones.blogspot.com. My latest 1001 read "Barabbas" is reviewed in the most recent post.

message 12: by Leslie (new)

Leslie Shimotakahara (lshimo) My book blog is http://www.the-reading-list.com
where I blog about my favourite novels and how they have inspired me, my writing process, and my new memoir coming out in the fall.

message 13: by Julia (new)

Julia (juliatruter) Wow wow wow - I'm so excited now!! I absolutely love blogs. I've added most of your blogs in my Google Reader, which is also the coolest thing ever. So I will put some time aside and start reading through your blogs ... I also want to start a whole new thing in my life and this is the way to go ... and will give me a lot of ideas.

I've got so many blogs in my Google Reader now, I won't remember where I got them from, so hopefully I will remember some of these when I like them and comment here - otherwise I'll comment directly on your blogs. There are so many things I want to do and have a lot of interests, so my Reader is filled with A LOT of blogs - I better start reading ... thanks for sharing!!!

message 14: by Sophie (new)

Sophie (imsophiedavies) I don't have a "book blog"; I do blog about my books, maybe not in the traditional sense but I do blog them!

I've added yours to my Reader as well - will have a look. I love interesting blogs - doesn't necessarily have to be only about books ... :)

message 16: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 30 comments I have the link in another discussion, but I did start a blog when I found this challenge, as I needed an outlet to share my trials, tribulations and triumphs! The link is:
http://kelly-abookaday.blogspot.com/

I will be sure to check some of the others out... Moral support needed!

message 19: by Amanda Joyce (new)

Amanda Joyce Woods (ajwoods1987) I have a pretty simple blog. A lot of it involves the books I read for pleasure, and Children's Book that I share with the kiddos during Story Time at our library. Take a look! :)

I just "followed" your blog. We have a great children's librarian where I live and my daughter and I enjoy storytime whenever we can make it. I am always on the lookout for books to share with her, as she HAS to be a reader like her parents! : )

message 21: by Amanda Joyce (new)

Amanda Joyce Woods (ajwoods1987) That's great! I saw this idea on another blog that I wam following. I thought that I would share the stories and craft ideas that we do with the kids at our library. I'm so blessed to have such an amazing job where I can share my love of books with children and hope that they develop that same love too!

message 22: by Amy (new)

Amy Neftzger (neftzger) | 28 comments I have a blog. I sometimes write about books (such as my recent post on A Clockwork Orange), but most of it is just nonsense and me having fun.

I am at http://neftzger.blogspot.com/ If you follow me through blogger I will usually follow you back within a week.

A more visual take on my way down the list with my favourite quotes more than indepth reviews. For me this is a way for me to capture the feeling of each book, as sometimes time can wear memory down!

message 26: by Kristin (new)

Kristin http://kristinsbookblog.blogspot.com

Mostly literary fiction and classics reviews.

message 27: by кєяo (new)

кєяo (echoinggreen) | 1 comments Hi, my blog is:
http://kerosbookblog.blogspot.com/

I mostly review mystery and thrillers, and occasionally fantasy, classics, and children's fiction.

I want a guest author too.
If anyone's interested, just send me a message.

I love quotes - this is great!

message 31: by Alyson Of Bathe (new)

Alyson Of Bathe (alysonofbathe) | 20 comments Alyson of Bathe's feeble attempt to complete the 1001 Books list. You would think a former English major would have a better start than this.

Sharmin (abattalion0words) | 2 comments I just started my own book blog! It ranges from YA dystopian to Adult fiction but I welcome all readers! Please feel free to check it out!

Karena (karenafagan) I, along with my other moderators, run a classics book group "Classics Without All the Class" here on Goodreads and we've also started a blog, http://cwatc-bookclub.blogspot.com. We also have a podcast that is biweekly. You can find the episodes on the blog.

message 35: by Mikela (last edited Mar 19, 2013 05:15PM) (new)

Mikela | 378 comments Wow, I've been a member here for two years and this is the first time I've seen this topic. The blogs listed here are fantastic, full of information and ones to be re-visited and read in more depth in the near future. I have just started by own blog (last month) to help me remember the books as they are read and wish I'd started years earlier. It's only in its infancy so doesn't compare with some of the great sites you guys have listed but I had to start somewhere and can only get better as I learn and read more. Welcome to all readers if you'd like to visit me at http://chapterofdreams.com/

message 36: by Glorianne (new)

Glorianne | 33 comments I just started a blog at the beginning of the year (I guess something's in the air...), and while it isn't exclusively about books, there is an entire section of reviews, and honestly, it's the section I contribute to the most. So excited to check out some of these other blogs....

message 37: by Lav (new)

Lav (villaneve) Ooh yay for topic, I need more blogs to read.
I've just started a blog as well.

message 38: by Cherene (new)

Cherene I do that blogging thing. Mostly in an attempt to improve my writing tone and confidence. It's all about books.

message 39: by Kristine (new)

Kristine (leggygal) | 52 comments I also started a blog at the beginning of this year - mostly because I'm forgetful and wanted to record my thought process about what I'd read. Mine covers all sorts of books from 1001 list items to slightly less cerebral fare it is called Fictional Fix and now I shall have to check out everyone else's on this thread :)

message 40: by Molly (new)

Molly (myrcell) | 14 comments I (perhaps a bit overambitiously) have been working my way through the 1001 lists for books, movies and songs. I've been doing a short review of each, for the sake of keeping me honest. All are posted on here: http://the1001s.wordpress.com/

Looking forward to seeing everyone else's.

message 41: by Lianne (new)

Lianne (eclecticreading) I have a blog; it's primarily a book blog but I've also posted other things like movie reviews and book lists and stuff. You can find it at caffeinatedlife.net :)

message 42: by M (new)

M (masanobu) | 110 comments I have recently started a book blog: All the Pretty Books, where I post book reviews and book-related-ish things I like.

Glad so many of you have book blogs. I'm always happy to find new blogs to read :)
