Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments I'm a few states away from home and won't be home until next weekend. However, if there isn't a new list up by then, I'll happily volunteer to pick up the ball and run with it.

D.G. | 4477 comments Thanks, Jim. Hopefully Kristi posts soon. :)

message 53: by Joyce (new)

Joyce (eternity21) | 739 comments I could also do a list as I have lots of books.

Ceej (drqangel) | 1015 comments I always miss when the list are posted but I'll gladly post a list for a raffle

message 55: by Valorie (new)

Valorie | 2218 comments I sent Kristi a personal message on Thursday requesting her address and haven't had a response back yet. Not sure what to do?

message 56: by D.G. (new)

D.G. | 4477 comments Hmmm...I'll consult with Yz. My thought is that if a person doesn't respond within a certain timeframe, a new winner should be chosen.

message 57: by Penney (new)

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments That sounds logical and fair DG

message 58: by Debbie (new)

Debbie (db_debber) | 2757 comments I would agree with that plan

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments You people make things too easy. Where's the public outrage? Where are the pitchforks and torches? *mumbles to self, 'nobody wants an angry mob anymore'*

message 60: by Debbie (new)

Debbie (db_debber) | 2757 comments lol, so you are ok with that idea too :)

message 61: by Shannon Carly (new)

Shannon Carly (shannibal) | 141 comments I agree as well that a new winner should be picked. Darn it, I was number 11 now I'll be 10, that can't be lucky. *grumbles*

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments Can we go again? Can we? Can we? *hands clasped, jumping*

Kristi is FIVE days overdue!! ...Five days is the equivalent of five months in GR land IMHO.

(Quietly, I really just want another chance at winning my selected SK book.)

message 66: by D.G. (last edited Mar 29, 2011 06:06AM) (new)

D.G. | 4477 comments Valerie - If Kristi hasn't stopped by 1:30pm today, please select a new winner (I'm saying 1:30 because that's the time you announced the winner on the 24th.)

Yz agreed to the new rule. If the winner doesn't stop by after 5 days to post the new raffle and claim the prize, a new winner will be chosen (we decided on 5 days because anybody can have Internet problems and not be able to login for 2-3 days so I think 5 days is more than fair.)

I will amend the rules up front.

Valorie | 2218 comments Sounds good to me, I'll try the number generator again if there is no response in 3 hours!

message 71: by AlbertaJenn (new)

AlbertaJenn | 0 comments I think five days is fair. It also gives someone who has a crazy day or two some give to claim their prize if they can't get online (like I sometimes do).

Actually it IS possible that someone's internet could go down and the company doesnt have an appointment to get it fixed til a week and a half later. It really depends on the company and area :)

That said, regardless I think 5 days is doable. I just had to point out that there is no way to know what RL emergencies or outages people have.

Most assuredly that a person can have an Internet (or other) emergencies that take them offline for more than 5 days but we cannot wait forever. I think 5 days is enough to give a person a chance to come back. If a person cannot check during that time, most likely they have bigger problems going on in their life or they don't check GR often enough.
