The Mystery, Crime, and Thriller Group discussion

I'm new to both Goodreads and this group. I love all genres of mysteries but am currently reading thrillers - the political/spy type. Loved Vince Flynn and Baldacci's Camel Club series; Brad Thor was okay. Any recommendations of others I should try? Glad to be here!

Welcome Jan. I won The Emperor's Tomb by Steve Berry in the goodreads first reads program and it is a pretty good thriller. I haven't read the earlier books in the Cotton Malone series so I think I am missing a few bits here and there but I am particularly enjoying the parts about the history of China and its culture. I've heard some of his earlier books are very good thrillers.
