Aynge (ayngemac) | 1202 comments I'd love to see a bio pic about Cary Grant, but I can't imagine anyone hot and sauve and gorgeous enough to play him.

Did someone say "Estes Queefauver?"

message 8: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) *stumbles and falls on face*

Syd Barrett
Ron Popeil

message 10: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11837 comments If you act now, you'll get a second film about Ron Popeil absolutely free!

message 11: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Now how much would you pay?

message 12: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11837 comments Ooh, should have gone that way.

Speaking of, I wouldn't mind seeing Billy Mays' last days fueled by coke and sex with hookers?

Okay, so maybe I'm not 100% sure about the hookers part...

I think Billy Mays is the life I'd least like to see a movie of.

message 16: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11837 comments Would anyone watch a movie about the crocodile guy? Crikey!

Not I.

message 18: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments Knut. I'd watch a movie about the life of Knut. :)

RIP, cute lil bear friend.

Stina (stinalee) | 749 comments After watching The King's Speech, I'd kind of like to see a well-written/well-acted movie about Wallis Simpson. We'll see how Madonna's musical works out.

I'd watch a double feature on Newt Gingrich and Elizabeth Hasselbeck.

message 21: by Louise (new)

Louise Chet Baker

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

I would love to see a Keith Moon biopic, yet not with the insufferable Mike Myers portraying him, as planned. Fuck that.

message 23: by Aynge (new)

Aynge (ayngemac) | 1202 comments I read a book about Chet Baker. Dang, that was depressing.

message 24: by Louise (new)

Louise yes, he seriously fucked up his life, and it really shows how much drugs ruined the entire jazz scene.
But some of his early music was amazing, and I think you could portray a lot of the whole cool jazz era.

message 25: by Michele (new)

Michele bookloverforever (lovebooks14) | 1970 comments Keith Richards. Mother Theresa. Andrea Dworkin. Anita Hill. Sandra Day O'Conoor. Hilary Clinton. Emmy Lou Harris. Elizabeth Cady Stanton. King Edward VII. Frances Perkins Gilman. Abigail Adams.

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

Michelle, Johnny Depp is producing and directing a documentary on Keith Richards, which I believe will be released some time this year.

message 27: by Michele (new)

Michele bookloverforever (lovebooks14) | 1970 comments I'll have to see it. I read Richard's autobiography. Why is he still alive?

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

Tenacity, I guess. And an iron constitution.

message 29: by Aynge (new)

Aynge (ayngemac) | 1202 comments Hey, they did make a movie about Chet Baker. It's on Sundance right now. It's a documentary from 1989 called "Let's Get Lost."

message 30: by Louise (new)

Louise Yes I saw bits of it :-)

message 31: by Aynge (new)

Aynge (ayngemac) | 1202 comments I knew it had to happen eventually...

Who should play Jeff Buckley? I'd say Ethan Hawke but he's too old now.

message 32: by Brittomart (new)

Brittomart Joseph Gordon-Levitt, I think. He looks the part, he plays guitar and sings, so hey. Why not?

message 33: by Mary (new)

Mary (merrussell) Joni Mitchell
