I'm on book 3 of my reread. I am struck by the way Martin creates the feel of a different culture with simple changes in language conventions.

- "He does not love me" = He wants to kill me
- "mislikes" = dislikes
- "Man grown / woman grown" = adult
- "smallclothes" = underwear

What strikes you?
