Who's Your Favorite Fictional TV Character?

Steven Tyler on "American Idol."
He's the character whom, along with guitarist Joe Perry, chased the dragon for two-plus decades in the fictitious Boston band Aerosmith, producing four or five of the best hard rock albums of the 70's along the way before getting clean in the late 80's and immediately pandering to the MTV crowd with power ballads and sharing Super Bowl stages with Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.
The writers sure feed him some funny lines.
All-time:
Mr. Haney on "Green Acres"
Lurch from the "Addams Family"
Buckwheat from "The Little Rascals"
Archie Bunker
Aunt Esther from "Sanford and Son"

Raylan Givens is the motherfucking MAN, but I gotta give it up for his nemesis, Boyd Crowder. I find myself rooting for him and his devious schemes.
Are we talking current fictional TV characters, or all-time? Current, I would add Don Draper and Dr. Walter Bishop.
All-Time:
Captain James Tiberius Kirk
Mr. Spock
Number Six
Emma Peel
Al Bundy
Kara Thrace
Lt. Frank Columbo

Don Draper is an excellent addition to the list.
I think she said current only.
I'm still not sure if I'm choosing based on who entertains me in the context of their show, or who I would like to hang out with. I thought Castle and Beckett fit both bills.

Raylan and Boyd are from FX's Justified, the best show on TV right now. Boyd is awesome, and while he's doing good things, I still see him as a bad guy so I can't quite root for him yet. I really love Ray-Ray's boss, Art. He's hilarious, but he's only in the show like, two minutes a week, if at all.

I think Beckett has a sense of humor, especially when she's teasing Castle about what she got up to at his daughter's age.
Sorry, Sarah!
Aynge, I loved the episode where Art had to chase the emphysema-suffering bank robber at the airport; that had to be the funniest chase scene I've ever seen.

Yeah, that was hilarious! He said: "If you run, I'm gonna put a bullet in that tank. You remember the end of Jaws?"

Gus and I are on the same page with previous tv shows. Well, except for Al Bundy. I'd add:
Buffy Summers
Spike
Rupert Giles
Carl Kolchak
John Steed
Dana Scully
Fox Mulder
Ranger Marcus Cole
James Rockford
Sgt. Dietrich
Sherlock Holmes

I also like, uh, the guy on Modern Family who's married to the Columbian woman over whom Kevin lusts, the guy who used to be on Married With Children.
I love Troy and Abed on Community, too. And Tina Fey's character on 30 Rock.

Oh goodness, how could I forget those two?
I have a close friend who is so much like Abed, it's frightening.

Bluth-Funke family is Arrested Development.
Jeff Winger and Abed are from the excellent NBC comedy Community.
Boyd and Raylan are from Justified.
Leslie Knope is Amy Poehler's starry eyed character in Parks & Rec
Dr. Sheldon Cooper is Big Bang Theory.
I don't know the rest.

Kara Thrace is from Battlestar Galactica, and was also called Starbuck.

Dr. Gregory House from House
Dr. Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds

Hmmmmm ... whom shall I pick?
Alicia Florrick on The Good Wife. Not because she's really hot. I really like her character.
Jackie "

"
She was on the final season of "24" and I didn't like her.

Which one?"
The U.S. one. I haven't seen the British version yet.
Played by William H. Macy in the Showtime series Shameless for those who were wondering.

Tyrion from Game of Thrones
Jessica from True Blood, mostly because I have a vamp-crush on her
Marshall from How I Met Your Mother

The Doctor
I could list dozens that I love, but the ultimate love-of-my-life TV character is The Doctor from Doctor Who. More specifically, Matt Smith's version of The Doctor (though Tennant's is a close second).
Runners up would include Dr. Cox from Scrubs, Brock Sampson from Venture Bros. and Bender from Futurama, to name a few.
Sheldon Cooper

For me, it's a tie between Dr. Sheldon Cooper and U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens.
