Welcome to the challenge :)

Janette (chasingrabbits) I'm suffering from reader's block. I start reading books, but just cannot finish them. About halfway through I get bored. So I have this pile of half finished books, lying here, looking at me accusingly. So, my progress had been slow :-(

Haha no worries, at some point the guilt will grab you and you'll finish it :P Until then ignore them :)

I agree with Lu. I have had that too at times and then all of a sudden you start reading and you will finish those books in no time and we will get scared because you're finishing all these task one after the other. Take your time though if you don't and force yourself to read it will only make things worse. Reading should be fun after all.

Janette (chasingrabbits) That's what I'm telling myself. But I hate the feeling. I just need to find that one book, that gets me going. In the mean time, I'm whipping through my puzzle books.

Harry Potter always gets me out of my reading slump :)

Janette (chasingrabbits) I liked the first few Harry Potters and then for some reason the series lost me - really should read the last 2 books...

I think the problem is that I recently read a book that, while not been the best book I've ever read, really affected me. So now when I read that level of emotional connection is missing and so I lose interest.

But you have given me an idea to revisit one of the books I always enjoy...
