Magnus bane. There.s nothing that guy cant do
Jace and Alec r definitely my favorite.
Here is my top favourites: 1.Magnus! 2.Jace! 3.Alec! 4.Clary!& Simon!& Isabelle!
Jocelyn. Probably because what she did in the past actually made the story of Mortal Instruments. I mean, come to think of it; the idea of blocking Clary's Sight, the journey of haunting the mortal cup and White book, it's all because of Jocelyn's first move. The adventure actually began with her. But if it's because of the character's personality, Isabelle rocked me most. Her strong personality made her a shadowhunter. Her love for her brothers, insecurities and way of thinking made her human. :D
My favorites are definitely Jace ( OBVIOUSLY!!! ) and Simon. Why?•Jace is super hot
•Simon is super sweet
•They are both really funny and sarcastic
•Excellent fighters
And...I don't know... I just really love these characters. I mean, they are hot and sweet... I SOOOOOOO wish they were real!!!!!
Magus Bane because he has the whole first season of Gilligan's Island :D

Magnus for the win man. Need I say why? He's perfection. Also too hilarious. Oh and I also love Isabelle! She is just so kick-ass and hilarious.
Jace wins the golden medal. He's not just funny, hot and brave. There's also that arrogant thing going on with him I simply can't resist to.Then, let's see... Magnus follows, for there's anything he can't do with a little incentive... cough-Alec-cough. They're so sweet together, even if sometimes I feel like banging Alec's head on something really hard when I think of how he treated Magnus.
The third place goes to Clary... yes, I know, she's whiny and all that but I can't actually bring myself to hate her.
Death to Isabelle and Simon, for what concers me.
Jace is my favorite character. He funny, sarcastic and extremely Witty I like how hilarious he is

Simon and Magnus.Simon is sweet and caring and he "rarely" every gives up.
Magnus is just such an original character he's hilarious too!
Magnus, Simon and Alec. If I had to only say one I'd say Magnus. I love him because he's so different as a character and yet so normal as a person. He's outgoing and flamboyant but there's so much more to him and his happy persona covers some really bad wounds in his heart. I love vulnerable characters who don't know and don't show how vulnerable they are.Simon is just such a sweetheart, he's so good and so relateable to me. He's a geek which I am, he's young and inexperienced and yet has to deal with so much so quickly. Yet he doesn't mope about depressed, he just tries to get on with his life. I love that.
Alec because he's the most ordinary and realistic character in the whole series. At least I think so, I love how much development he has, and yet how young he still is. 18 is very young to have to deal with all the crap he's had to deal with, and the pressure of his first relationship, and having to be the oldest in his family and look after them while everyone sees him as not good enough. I think he has a hard time with Jace as well, Jace isn't a very good Parabatai and I think having to put up with someone like Jace as your Parabatai must be extremely hard.
I guess but he is really funny but he doesn't take things all hat serious

Simon. He's a great friend and i wish i could have someone like him:)

My second favourites are Jace and Isabelle because they're like the strongest Shadowhunters
Idk I pretty much like everyone except Clary and Mayris. It might sound crazy, but I just think she's annoying. Love the other characters though.
Everyone seems to like Magnus? I'm at the part when they are leaving the institute to go to his party :)

I kinda love/pity Sebastian. He was born into a life of blood and a world warped by his father - i feel what he became was out of his control. I wasn't scared or repulsed by him, when i read the books i actually wanted to be his friend. Well, that is, the closest thing something like him could consider a friend. I also really appreciated his cold logic; no irritating neurosis.
Izzy cuz she has that girl power that's strong and she's guarded until Simon comes along!!!;);)
My favorite character would have to be Jace because I feel that he's one of the characters that really develops through the story's. He's also snarky and funny and I think that made the book more fun to read!!
