Hi, I'm Lisa, and old-as-Methuselah old, old-as-Carol-Kane-in-Princess-Bride old, and as my grandmother used to say, "old as dirt."My favorite book changes too fast to really commit, but lately I've really been enjoying the works of M Todd Gallowglas, especially the Dragon Bone Flute books. But I read everything except erotica and horror. I've also been enjoying Edith Nesbit's short stories lately.
And I guess I'm here because I wanted to ramble about books and talk to other readers. I'm new to GoodReads, and don't really know how to do the forum thing, so I thank you in advance for teaching me.

Ok, question. For a Facebook-ignorant, elderly pixie like myself, what's the "friend etiquette" here on Goodreads? Do I just press that "add as friend" button whenever I like what someone posts or is that rude, here?
It's not particularly rude, but generally I myself wait until I know the person well enough or like them. But again, it's your choice - it's not seen as rude.
Ok, I'll wait longer. I'm conservative. :) Thanks for the advice.

Hi- my name is Amanda.I'm not quite sure how these group things work so I'm going to just wing it.
I'm a 23 year old female from New Jersey. I just recently graduated from Rowan University with 2 BA's - Public Relations & Advertising. I have an associates in Liberal arts. I still have no clue what I want to do for a career- the only thing I know Is that I LOVE to read. I wish I could just find a job where I can read all the time.
Anyways, if anyone has advice on how groups work- I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks!
