Unbroken by Maya Banks has a Peyton. (probably the print version of the 3 stories mentioned by Hina). There's a few other names in it as well.

I just finished reading Once a Cowboy by Linda Warren. In the summary on goodreads website, the heroine name is Alexandra, but I don't think her full name was mentioned at all in the book. Can anyone confirm that? or did I just overlooked it while reading? I don't know if I can use it or not.

Look it up on google books and search for Alexandra. Then you can see if you just missed it somewhere.

That's odd that they'd put it in the description and then never call her that in the book.

I just received Lingerby Maya Banks in the mail today from paperbackswap. Just from the book description there: Emily, Catherine and Logan. Not hard to find names but still 3 in one fairly short book.

I went to message 25 and there is no edit there

Lindy - your post in that thread is #25 - I have you shown as Lindy Smith (in case another 'Lindy' registered). So just scroll midway down the first page and update/post your books at that message (using 'edit').

The marked off names have to match the gender, so Morgan has to be female, not male, etc etc.

And no - you can't exchange Paden for Payton :(

Yes - I'm happy for you to use it if the back-cover/blurb uses the full name.

Whenever you post a message on Goodreads, in the bottom right-hand corner of the posted message, there are three options that you (as the poster of that message) can click on: reply / edit / delete (ignore the flag*).

So go to message 25 in the Participants Lists thread and click on the 'edit' option. This will reopen your post so that you can change your message in that post, and add the books and names that you have read for this challenge.

(Please don't delete your post as this will throw out my numbering :)

I was looking to purchase Montana Dawn on kindle but I can't find the book in kindle format, even though goodreads is stating that edition exist. Does anyone know what's going on?

I'm reading Divergent which has a Caleb and so far there's been appearances by a Lauren and a Max. I'm only 25% into the audiobook so I hope those characters show up again.

ohh goodie - I have divergent on the pile

In Too Deep has Isabella, Violet, Max, Henry and Julian. Violet isn't a huge part but I think she qualifies as more than a walk on part.

Madelyn = Madeline?

That one is in the FAQs - and you are in luck - due to an anomoly, Madeline may be pronounced as Madelyn even though the reverse is not true! :)

Lauren and Max haven't shown up again though...but I think they'll be back.

Unleashed by Jami Alden has: Ethan, Alyssa, Kaylee and Caroline so far and I'm only 50 pages into it. Looks like there's a useable male Alex too which I think I still need.

And woohoo! Thanks to flipping to the back to the book excerpts, I know that a book I already own has a Joshua. I didn't have a confirmed book for that. Lots of known Josh's but no for sure Joshua.

I'm struggling with Me, Myself and Why. I thought maybe I'd like MJD better on audio. Not so. I am just not seeing why she is so popular.

Hopefully I can get through it if I break it up with other audiobooks.

If I remember correctly you'll find a Sarah and a Daniel. Colin Bridgerton shows up once but it's sort of an important scene...(Jane can tell you if you can use the name or not.)

They mention a Charlotte a lot but she never shows up.

I think I have those names covered so far in other books. But, I'm glad to hear Colin makes an appearance. I loved her Bridgerton books!

Just read A Certain Wolfish Charm and it has Lily, William, Benjamin, and Oliver....really cute read, and though I had all the other names already, I needed that Oliver!

It's not THAT bad. I've read worse (what a ringing endorsement, LOL!)

So far, it's a (sort of) less violent Hunger Games but with a sillier premise. The heroine is described as one way but it's really another.

Well bummer. I thought I had a Sebastian but he turned out to only be mentioned a bunch of times. I picked this up from the library on audio because I had another book that went with it and it's good for names: Lavender Morning-Luke, Sara, Alex/Alexander (both are mentioned) and David.

Quicksilver I'm only 1 CD in and have already confirmed Caleb, Gabriel, and Owen. I think there's also a Charlotte and a Nicholas. I have both those names but I needed the first 3.

Can anyone tell me if Isaiah is in Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal? I'm listening to the audio, and it sounds as if the father of the Jaken(?) is Isaiah (I think I have this right - I've only just started listening), but I can't really tell if the spelling/pronounciation is right...

Joshua (Jesus) and Levi (Biff) are the main characters if anyone is interested...

Why the hell can't people spell names like they're supposed to?!

I'm reading a book and a character's brother is named Willym. I'm not sure if this is a fancy alternate form of William or not.

Any thoughts?

Fancy form I think - maybe of German origin, but not pronounced the same - I just had the same thing with another name!
