Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 1885 comments Congrats, Hina!

NocturnalRavings(Jodie) (mistrissmoon) | 270 comments Shweet! And congrats Hina! Also,I'm reading Night Pleasures and Kyrian is referred to as Hunter a lot. What's the judgment on that?

message 1310: by Jane (PS), Moderator (new)

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments Sorry MM - referring to Kyrian as 'Hunter' won't qualify for the name 'Hunter' to be marked off. It's his occupation, not his name. ...Good question though!

message 1311: by Mojca (last edited Aug 28, 2011 06:30AM) (new)

Mojca | 1414 comments Jane, but Kyrian himself tells Amanda his name is Hunter. And she calls him Hunter, until they're...you know...and he tells her "It's not Hunter []. It's me, Kyrian".

Won't your reconsider? ;)

message 1312: by D.G. (new)

D.G. | 4477 comments Man, I haven't found a name in more than a week. :(

message 1313: by Mary X (last edited Aug 31, 2011 07:08AM) (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 1103 comments Wolf's Passion (Rutledge Werewolves 3 & 4) by Elizabeth Lapthorne has Chloe, Samual, Dominic, Matthew. (no Sophie-she doesn't really appear in the book, only mentioned)

I just got it from booksfree for Chloe. It's erotica though for anyone who doesn't like that stuff.

Hina (hinaj) | 2581 comments Hello everybody, How's it going? I think I am suffering RRRC reading withdrawal, I am not used to not looking at this page constantly. LOL.

message 1315: by Mary X (last edited Aug 31, 2011 12:41PM) (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 1103 comments No Reservations-appears to have Brandon, Leah (main character of 1 story), Kendall (not sure how big of a part yet).

message 1316: by Lindy (new)

Lindy (lindylee) | 260 comments I can't find gavin.

But then I can't find my house either, we have no pwoer, water and trees down, so I had to move out.

Sorry - It's probably 2 years since I read that book.

Given he tells Amanda that his name is Hunter - I'll accept that :) It'll have to come under the alternate name ruling, where they are known under a different name for a substantial part of the book.

Wow Lindy - hope it all works out! I'll be thinking of you and hoping for the best!

message 1320: by Hina (new)

Hina (hinaj) | 2581 comments Hey Lindy,

I hope it works out for you and hope you are back home soon! I think I can help with Gavin, I haven't read it, but I think I was told The Perfect Play has a Gavin and I read Her Guardian but its an inspirational romance. The hero is named Gavin. Good Luck!

message 1321: by D.G. (new)

D.G. | 4477 comments Yup, The Perfect Play has a Gavin. It's not the hero but a really important character in the book.

LOL!! Not making fun of you all, just bored. I spend too much time looking up books, reading and planning what to read next and all of a sudden not much to do. Work is boring and school is not starting for me for a few more weeks and I just feel like I have too much time on my hands.

message 1323: by Dina (new)

Dina (missdina) | 807 comments Hina, you could read some of my books for me. Maybe that way I'll be able to finish this challenge, LOL.

message 1324: by Lynne (last edited Sep 02, 2011 11:37PM) (new)

Lynne (lovetoreadgal) | 1182 comments The follow up to The Perfect Play is Changing the Game and the whole book is about Gavin (which I already had) but surprise, surprise it also has a Victoria and an Aubrey!!! I've been having a tough time finding an Aubrey so it was an unexpected windfall. Plus the book is super hot!

Hey Lindy I hope everything is back to normal soon. I'm assuming you were in the path of the hurricane. Best wishes that you've not been hit too hard with any damage from the storm.

~KarenH~ | 11352 comments Woohoo! Thanks for the good news about Changing the Game - I was already planning on reading it this month, but the extra names are a great bonus!

message 1327: by Mary X (last edited Sep 03, 2011 07:47PM) (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 1103 comments I used Winning the Highlander's Heart, (Book #1) by Terry Spear for Gavin. He's a secondary character.

message 1328: by D.G. (new)

D.G. | 4477 comments I found my first name in two weeks...and it was only one. Sigh...

message 1329: by Jane (PS), Moderator (new)

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments I'm still picking up names here and there. It doesn't help my chances when I read fantasy and sci-fi... But I'm reading Play of Passion ATM and will collect a couple of names from that :)

message 1330: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 1103 comments I was just all excited to find a "Lydia" only to realize it's not on the list. Pooh.

message 1331: by Jane (PS), Moderator (last edited Sep 05, 2011 01:49PM) (new)

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments Hey Mary - I thought your highlander on your bookcover above had a huge black beard - so naturally had to double-check the cover... It was just a massive shadow on this chest! (Bet the editors etc hadn't thought of that...)

NocturnalRavings(Jodie) (mistrissmoon) | 270 comments Woot,thank you Jane!

message 1333: by D.G. (new)

D.G. | 4477 comments A huge black beard!!! I'm sure that would make him very popular with the ladies, LOLOLOL!

message 1334: by Jane (PS), Moderator (new)

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments I thought they were downsizing their market appeal considerably! And such a nice chiselled face to cover with thick black hair... *hehehe*

message 1335: by Lindy (new)

Lindy (lindylee) | 260 comments I am back home. I am stuck on Caden, someone said it was in Rogers, Evenlyn The Ghost of Carnel Cove.
Is that true?

message 1336: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 1103 comments Ghost of Carnal Cove has a Mckenna as a female first name, it's the main female character. I don't have it down for Caden though. I have Soul of a Highlander and Tempt Me with Darkness as possibles for Caden but I don't remember who the Caden character is them.

message 1337: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 1103 comments I just looked up Ghost on google books and when I searched for Caden it didn't bring up anything but it wasn't in Ghost of Carnal Cove.

But I did find something cool-it asked me if I wanted to search for Caden in other volumes and when I hit that-it brought a whole bunch of books with a character named Caden:

Twice a Prince by Sherwood Smith
Surrender Bay by Denise Hunter
and a few others. It never asked me that before. Might have helped with some names I had a hard time fining.

message 1338: by Hina (last edited Sep 07, 2011 06:01AM) (new)

Hina (hinaj) | 2581 comments Lindy,

I read Ghost of Carnal Cove and I don't remember a Caden in the book, I am pretty sure it wasn't a major character for sure. I read Seduce Me in Shadow by Shayla Black.

P.S. Glad you are back home!

message 1339: by NocturnalRavings(Jodie) (last edited Oct 02, 2011 11:50PM) (new)

NocturnalRavings(Jodie) (mistrissmoon) | 270 comments There's a Caden in Angelfire. There's also a William,an Ellie,a Landon and a Nathaniel. :D

Also,I have a question:What if a character founds out they're adopted,or something similar, and their original name is on the list. Would that count? If that character was called by that name?

message 1340: by Jane (PS), Moderator (new)

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments As long as they are called by that name (their original 'pre-adoption' name) by another character, that is fine.

NocturnalRavings(Jodie) (mistrissmoon) | 270 comments Jane (PS) wrote: "As long as they are called by that name (their original 'pre-adoption' name) byanother character, that is fine." shweet!! Then
Outside In Has a male Riley, a Logan, a Sadie,a Nolan and a Jacob. :D

D.G. | 4477 comments I'm stuck at 111 names...haven't found a name in more than a week!

message 1348: by Erin (new)

Erin H I have the hardest time finding girl's name, hopefully I'll finish the boys!!

message 1349: by Jane (PS), Moderator (new)

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments *shamefaced* I keep forgetting to look for names as I read, then have to backtrack a week or two later to figure them out. NOT easy with audiobooks!

message 1350: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 1103 comments I know that I forgotten to list some names probably from audios. I'm sure I've had an Adam and a Cole but I can't remember where. Oh well. I'm still plugging away. I don't know if I'll finish by 10/31 anymore. I keep having books to read for trading on PBS and book clubs. They haven't produced a lot of new names for me the last few weeks. I might have to make a last ditch effort to read from my list of books with known names instead of crossing off as I come to them.
