Will Granger | 91 comments Anabar struggles with some adult issues in choosing whether to be a Scout. The Scouts are very secretive, and are loners with no stereotypical training center. My book is not a fantasy, and I came up with my own ideas for naming the competing lands, Ricamar and Semdela. Another point about my book is that neither nation is the "bad" one. Anabar learns that he has ties to both, and that is part of why he struggles. He also worries because he doesn't feel the hate he thinks he needs to be a Scout.

Anabar is not perfect, and definitely has no special powers or great wealth, and there are no humanoid creatures. Later in the series, Anabar has to decide whether to give up fame and success in the name of peace. You can read an excerpt on my blog at: http://anabarauthor.blogspot.com/, or I will happily send a free electronic copy to any ROBUST member.

I would love to hear what you think about it.

Thanks,
Will Granger
