Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments Oh, no. I have taken this reprimand to heart. From here on out I will embrace you in all your zombie glory. I can see the beauty of a person inside and out. And you are beeutiful.

message 102: by Bandit (new)

Bandit (lecturatoro) | 8821 comments oh...heart...or as you might say "rotten heart", but heart nevertheless :)

message 103: by Tressa (new)

Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments A heart's a heart. Fuck the adjectives.

message 104: by Bandit (new)

Bandit (lecturatoro) | 8821 comments I like that, Tressa. It should be a card or a bumper sticker.

message 105: by Tressa (new)

Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments GD, yes it should be!

message 106: by Gatorman (new)

Gatorman | 8320 comments I'd buy it!

message 107: by Bandit (new)

Bandit (lecturatoro) | 8821 comments me too, I need to personalize my bike, it's been 2 years

message 108: by Erica (new)

Erica (bookpsycho) | 256 comments The werewolves in Dog Soldiers are the best!

message 109: by Bandit (new)

Bandit (lecturatoro) | 8821 comments who'd dare mock the Pinhead avatar? it's absolutely awesome

message 110: by Gatorman (new)

Gatorman | 8320 comments I like the Pinhead avatar, too!

message 111: by Mark (new)

Mark Burns (TheFailedPhilosopher) | 196 comments Greg wrote: "Amanda wrote: "Yep I saw one of them :) She did indeed have hair."

Yes, but was it hers? Maybe what she wears as hair once belonged to another corpse.... :P"

Since in all likelihood the main thing to survive death would be hair and nails as they keep growing I'm pretty sure it was all their own hair.

message 112: by Greg (new)

Greg | 1680 comments Bandit wrote: "oh, sorry, yes grrrr AS braaaaains
ok, so it's either avatar change or zombie cracks, I guess :)"

Is that a reference to zombie skin complexion...?

message 113: by Bandit (new)

Bandit (lecturatoro) | 8821 comments errr...Tressa, make it stop, make it stop

message 114: by Greg (new)

Greg | 1680 comments Bandit wrote: "errr...Tressa, make it stop, make it stop"

OK, OK. I'm stopping! I don't want to get Tressa mad because she's, well you know... a Librarian! :O

message 115: by Nora aka Diva (new)

Nora aka Diva (DuctTapeDiva) Bandit wrote: "Pinhead is so scary...he says things like "We will tear your soul apart""

I find that line more baffling than frightning, a soul has no substance, it would be like tearing apart smoke.

message 116: by Bandit (new)

Bandit (lecturatoro) | 8821 comments I think in the dimension where Pinhead and cenobites exist, soul has substance

message 117: by Scott (new)

Scott Or it's just poetic license.

message 118: by Greg (new)

Greg | 1680 comments I think it's bad enough that the cenobites tear the body apart - the soul seems secondary to me....

message 119: by Nora aka Diva (new)

Nora aka Diva (DuctTapeDiva) I just don't find cenobits frightening, creepy sure but not exactly frightnening.

message 120: by Greg (new)

Greg | 1680 comments DuctTapeDiva wrote: "I just don't find cenobits frightening, creepy sure but not exactly frightnening."

Even if you met them on your own in a remote place? :P

message 121: by Nora aka Diva (new)

Nora aka Diva (DuctTapeDiva) lol, honestly if I finally was alone anywhere(remote place or otherwise) no matter what showed up Cenobits, God, Demons, etc, they would find an angry short redhead screaming things like"WTF do I have to do to get a moment alone!! AHHHH!" lmao.
Seriously having known real fear and having my life threatened, I find horror movies just not as frightening anymore, but definetely more fun to watch than say romance or the like. :)

yes, my spelling sucks worse than a broken vacuum.

message 122: by Nora aka Diva (new)

Nora aka Diva (DuctTapeDiva) Scott wrote: "Or it's just poetic license."

I didn't say it wasn't a well written phrase, just not frightening from my perspective. lol.
I know, I'm strange.

message 123: by Jason (new)

Jason (darkfiction) | 3233 comments I agree with standing by your avatar. Nobody bugs me about mine, but I've been Poe for years now. LOL

message 124: by Tressa (new)

Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments Oh, I've been meaning to bug you about your avatar, Jason. Time to retire Poe.

message 125: by Scott (new)

Scott He can't retire Poe. That's actually how I picture him.

message 126: by Tressa (new)

Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments Nah. I've seen Jason. And Poe, you are no Jason.

And about that cat...

message 127: by Bandit (new)

Bandit (lecturatoro) | 8821 comments er...Jason looks like Poe and Scott looks like a white cat, you can't mess with my mind and perceptions like that

message 128: by Scott (new)

Scott Do zombies even have minds?

message 129: by Bandit (new)

Bandit (lecturatoro) | 8821 comments you bet...how do you think I come up with all these witty posts and reviews? :)

message 130: by Scott (new)

Scott Well you know, give an infinite number of zombies an infinite number of typewriters...

message 131: by Jason (new)

Jason (darkfiction) | 3233 comments I could be Lovecraft for awhile, but I'm sort of comfortable with Poe. lol

message 132: by Craig (new)

Craig Hallam (craighallam) Nora wrote: "they would find an angry short redhead screaming things like"WTF do I have to do to get a moment alone!! AHHHH!" lmao"

When the zombocalypse arrives, I'm coming to your hideout, Nora hahaha

message 133: by Tressa (new)

Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments I just hovered the cursor over my avatar. I have made 15,309 posts at HA.

message 134: by [deleted user] (new)

15310 now ;) And Im strongly opposed to you being anything other than Poe, Jason. It would be really...strange.

Lol @ Craig. Apparently every group is planning for the eventual Zombie Apocalypse ;) Jason's even gonna write a book about it, right Jason!

message 137: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Slade (marlenekslade) | 2 comments The creature in John Carpenter's The Thing and the one in Leviathan starring Peter Weller are two of my favorites!

message 138: by Jason (new)

Jason (darkfiction) | 3233 comments Grant, you never know. I've written two ZA short stories, one was published by Living Dead Press. The other remains unpublished. :) So, maybe a novel someday.

message 139: by Dana * (new)

Dana * (queenofegypt) | 229 comments Speaking of cenobites, can anyone tell me about the chick with the windshield in her chest? At least that is what it looks like me to me, she is never really on screen very long.

message 140: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (cellardoor3824) | 1 comments Sister Zelda from Pet Sematary. Terrifying.

message 141: by Jason (new)

Jason (darkfiction) | 3233 comments Jessica wrote: "Sister Zelda from Pet Sematary. Terrifying."

She terrified me, too! I had nightmares!

message 142: by Nora aka Diva (new)

message 144: by Monnie (new)

Monnie (monnie1976) | 15 comments The creatures in the movie Descent were pretty damn creepy. Of course, when you see them in the DVD extras they are pretty hilarious.

message 145: by Amanda (last edited Jun 02, 2011 11:09PM) (new)

Amanda M. Lyons (amandamlyons) Oh you mean this Zelda? :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oV4nww...

Holy hell was she a trip :{

message 146: by Craig (new)

Craig Hallam (craighallam) The Thing from...urm...The Thing. Man, that was one messed up, mutating alien freak. And the fact that it could be anyone was particularly freaky.

That's it, I'm off to warm up the flamethrower...

message 147: by MJ (new)

MJ (zombette) | 545 comments Ugh, Zelda, why?

Truly frightening!
