Since in all likelihood the main thing to survive death would be hair and nails as they keep growing I'm pretty sure it was all their own hair.

I find that line more baffling than frightning, a soul has no substance, it would be like tearing apart smoke.

I think in the dimension where Pinhead and cenobites exist, soul has substance

I think it's bad enough that the cenobites tear the body apart - the soul seems secondary to me....

I just don't find cenobits frightening, creepy sure but not exactly frightnening.

lol, honestly if I finally was alone anywhere(remote place or otherwise) no matter what showed up Cenobits, God, Demons, etc, they would find an angry short redhead screaming things like"WTF do I have to do to get a moment alone!! AHHHH!" lmao.
Seriously having known real fear and having my life threatened, I find horror movies just not as frightening anymore, but definetely more fun to watch than say romance or the like. :)

The creature in John Carpenter's The Thing and the one in Leviathan starring Peter Weller are two of my favorites!

Grant, you never know. I've written two ZA short stories, one was published by Living Dead Press. The other remains unpublished. :) So, maybe a novel someday.

The creatures in the movie Descent were pretty damn creepy. Of course, when you see them in the DVD extras they are pretty hilarious.
