Fantasy Book Club discussion

I admit I am new to reading fantasy, or reading books regularly at all. Game of Thrones is a book that I've seen popping up all over this site. I just started reading it today. However it just hit me. For the past week and a half...I kept on reading the title as Game of Thornes...I do not know what is the matter with me but like literally 2 minutes ago I noticed my blunder. Does anyone else "imagine" other words that aren't there?

The reason you are reading it as Game of Thrones because there is a HBO show based on A Game of Thrones with that title, which premiered on Sunday April 17th. The show is the reason that you are seeing all the promotion for the book especially all this month.

Game of Thornes, lol. I think that I mostly read and mispronounce names of people and places, but this is probably pretty common. You picked up a great book, enjoy!

I do it fairly regularly, though it doesn't usually take me so long to realize I've read it wrong. :>

Yeah I am getting close to halfway through the first book. The story is good so far but I am not really knocked off my feet yet.
