I believe that we still don't understand the human brain, and that is the real root of all this stuff.

That's certainly one way to look at it.

Not aliens, Djinn, aliens, etc.
But that episode of the X-Files where Mulder & Scully find that Djinn in the storage locker, that cracked me up.

When I was in high school, we were partying up at a radio tower late at night and something came up over the hill (very steep, no walking path) standing on two legs, but was much larger than a human and didn't look like a bear, but it was all furry. I was the one driving back, so I had not been drinking.
Because it was fairly dark, there was no way to see exactly what it was, but the thing was huge. This was no person in a costume. Of course, we ran like hell instead of sticking around to find out what it was. To this day it bugs me that I didn't get a good look at the thing.

I'm very happy in the "boring" world.

So, why not Bigfoot? Why could there not be some kind of connecting energy cuing Bun in to needs of loved friends and family?
I'm a skeptic, but I'm also openminded.

Richard who is your standard NY cynic has seen a ghost, as well as other people who were at this weekend theatre workshop in a huge old house owned by Richard Avedon. Sat on the porch with the ghost for a long time. In the morning after others confirmed sightings, they investigated and it looked like the original owner.
I do believe in spooks myself, even tho I've never seen one. ALtho something very evil came into the bathroom when I was in the tub, inviting a spirit in. (THis is when I was my stupid 20s) It had a deep evil chuckle. Well, sure I could have imagined it, but it scared the crap out of me!

Perhaps Bun, but I am pretty sure you use a much larger part of you brain then the majority of us me. :)
Honestly, what was he thinking?
