Tell The Wolves I'm Home: A Novel
Interested to hear what you all had to say about Tell the Wolves I'm Home... I started it and lived what I read, but haven't had a chance to get back to it.

Michael, I was the one who loved and recommended Tell the Wolves I'm Home - read it in one sitting, loved it.
My review: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

ETA: OK, that didn't work. I added it to my profile pictures, here's the link:
http://www.goodreads.com/photo/user/3...

How do you do this, Callie? I've taken a couple pictures related to reading that I've wanted to share. Is it through your profile?
(shortly after): Found it! Under my profile, under my picture, it says "more photos", then on the right I can click on "add more photos". Is this how? I'll try it after my vacation!

Yes, if you go to your profile, under your profile picture is a link called "more photos". If you click that, there is a link called "add more photos".

Ha, you found out from someone in Switzerland that someone will be in Cambridge. Aye.
There is a fortune to be made from someone solving this problem. I just wish I had the time, skills and resources.

If I were on facebook or twitter, I would be much more in the know. Blame me and the fact that I live in a virtual internet cave, apart from goodreads.
OK, what do we have to do for Literary Trivia on 8/6? The Boston Phoenix just posted on Facebook that they are taking this seriously. That got my competitive juices flowing.
Do we have a team for sure? Count me in.

I dug it out of a pile at Manchester-by-the-Book last year for $7.00!

Oh, I wish I could be there to help!

I'm definitely coming to cheer you all on, but my memory is such that I don't think I'd be the strongest link on a team. Keep me posted on the event though! I want to enjoy it with other BOTNers.

I'm hoping someone will step up and organize us all. Any volunteers? (Seeing that I am too lazy to even go back into this thread and see who brought up the idea, I am obviously not the person to take a leadership role on this endeavor).

A team is 4 people so I think you have one complete team based on this string (Callie, Vanessa, Vanessa's friend from Wales and Ann...hopefully I didn't miss anyone?). You just need to come up with a name for the team and then when you buy tickets at this site (http://www.bostonbookfest.org/bookfes...) there is a place on the payment page to enter your team name. Tickets are $12 on line and $15 at the door.
PS I'm in Eton UK this week and next visiting my husbands and then I'll be back in the US while I do the final steps for my work visa which will probably take 3-4 weeks. So if I miss the trivia night I'd love to do another bookish night before the end of the summer!
Enjoy the UK, Jennifer! I hope to see you at the trivia night...or at another Crema chat.
Thank you, Jennifer! I do hope that you are able to join us, but if not, PLEASE let's have a get together before you go back to the UK. Ihope you're having a great time. I do notice that you said you were "visiting my husbands' -- something you want to tell us? ;)
So, Callie, Vanessa, and Vanessa's friend from Wales: are we in?
Anyone want to be back-up, or form a 2nd team?

Citizens of the Land of Booktopia
Trivia from the Nightstand
Austen Leads Bronte by Three Weddings and Two Scandals (Inspired by the team name we used a few months ago for regular trivial "Newt Leads Romney by Two Wives")
Call Us Ishmael
Truth-tellers of the Universally Acknowledged
Heros of Our Own Stories
Escapees from the Ministry of Love
Lady Chatterley's Association Against Fifty Shades of Grey
A Good Bibliophile is Hard to Find
Second Star on the Right
The Music Makers and the Dreamers of Dreams

I just got the email announcing the keynote speakers for BBF- for the adults' side, Richard Ford, and for the kids' side, Lemony Snicket. I die.

I just asked, they said that it doesn't matter if we buy the tickets as one group or individually, just that it will make things easiest if we all have the same group name in the applicable field. I'm going to go ahead and purchase mine.

Ps: Side Note to all those Boston BOTNSers - I am having a big summer picnic at the Larz Anderson Park in Brookline August 11th, with a real menu, blankets, board games and general outside fun. If any of you are interested and would like pretty snail mail invite - please email me a [email protected]
No obligation, just thought I would extend the summer fun invite to the BOTNS network! :)
Picnic sounds great. I work until 5p on Saturdays though :-( Have fun!
OK, going to sign up now, team Call Us Ishmael.
Vanessa, thanks so much for the picnic invite. It sounds wonderful! I, sadly, will likely be killing myself at the Spartan Race in Amesbury, climbing over walls and under barbed wire as part of the race.

The picnic sounds fun, but I'm away then. Thanks for the invite though.

Our tickets have been purchased! See you all at Tommy Doyle's in Kendall tonight around 6:15ish? Go team Call me Ishmael!
Vanessa
