I emailed about getting late tickets. Hopefully someone will let me get one or two. That would be so fun! Even though I would not be at "the cool kids" table.

Yay! They responded that I can come and bring my mum . An early small Xmas gift. Very excited to attend!

Fantastic! Please do look for us -- if there are extra seats at our table we will try to save them. My plan right now is to wear a burgundy skirt, and gray & black striped sweater. I'll also try to have a Books on the Nightstand totebag with me for easy identification.

Hey all, got here early so having a glass of wine at the Fairmont Copley bar. Join me if you're here early.

I am so sad. We missed the event today. I read elsewhere in the thread about a meetup at 4pm and got it mixed up and put 4pm in my calendar for today at the Fairmont. I was excited to see the speaker and meet some of my fellow new "goodreads" people.
I guess it wasn't in the cards for today. I hope everyone had a blast! Ann, I appreciate your effort and am sorry I didn't make it. My mum is bummed as well. boo hoo!
