Kids/Teens Book Club discussion

I am having trouble remembering a book that I read as a child. I know that it is classified as a childrens'/young adults book but I can't recall the title for the life of me.
It is a collection of modern day morality tales.
One story involves a kid who didn't want to ever bathe, and so his skin became so encrusted with filth that when he finally agreed to take a shower, his entire body washed down the drain.
Another story is about a girl who would walk by a puppy in a yard on her way to school and throw rocks at it. One day the puppy was no longer a puppy but a big dog, and it jumped the fence and ate her.

These are vague memories, my plot descriptions may be a little off. :)

i dont know, but the first one sounds sort of like a robert munsch story :)

It does sound sort of Robert Munsch-like. The first one also starts off sounding like a Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle story (the Radish Cure, to be exact), but I don't know. I wish I could be of more help.

I have no idea, but I also need help. My descriptions may be off, also.

It's four girl that live on the same street and one girl takes piano lessons, and then they like, go to this different world and there's this potatoe thing and two mean sisters and then at the end there's like the red slippers from The Wizard Of Oz? The cover was green and they were going through something and there's a dog (Todo) but it looks like it's a stone or something... That's as much as I can remember.

I don't know the name, but I remember the book. I've periodically been trying to remember the name. They go to Spoz. There's a society or something in the name.

But, yeah, they hate each other and then suddenly they're really good friends, and this woman comes who all the adults love (I think she owns a pet shop) and always wears a veil and fishnets, but the girls think she's evil. An they try to prove it, but she ends up sending them to Spoz, where they become more or less slaves of the Wicked Witches nieces, who have run out of their vitamin to look nice, and want to take the girls' appearances. Then they escape through a trapdoor to the land of the weird potato people.

I think it's along the lines of the Society of Something Street.
