Honestly, my SciFi credentials are rather lacking at this point. I've read and loved Snow Crash, but haven't found anything else really similar.
Though Armor is a quick and action packed read, but it's Military SciFi.

Might be worth taking a look at the cyberpunk genre - William Gibson or Pat Cadigan, or post-cyberpunk Moxyland by Lauren Beukes. They have a similar feel to Snow Crash.

@Jeff, go for the next Mistborn book. The series is well worth putting off other reads :P "
Must resist... Must resist...
I blocked them all out by reading various prologues and introductions to books I mean to read or re-read. King's updated intro to The Gunslinger was interesting; he and most people I know prefer the revised edition over the original, as his new version matches the later books in style. I liked the first edition, didn't make it too far into the later books. Trying to be ready for the TV series by getting a least a few volumes read this summer.

Angus, as Sc has already recommend, William Gibson might be a good match. Some years ago a group of my friends and I all read Neuromancer, Mirrorshades: The Cyberpunk Anthology and Snow Crash within a year and found many enjoyable similarities.

I also want to read The Tale of the Vampire Bride (thick book) and some of the novels from an unknown author Mac, who wrote My Dark Love, and Imogen Roses's Faustine.
Just to name a few.
